DSE係local 試，IB係國際試。你不如計返全球IB考試人數vs 4 ...

"...你可以話，在香港，DSE比IB拎到狀元的人數比率低，但要記住的確某d學校係較叻果班先可以讀IB..."

你这話碓与事实相同, 如,SPCC/DBS, 每年IB 狀元人都數比DSE多不少, 意即
- 它們的DSE考生比不上IB考生叻? and / or
- 佢地d學生大部份都係適合考IB多过考DSE年年如是?

用什麼學歷申請程序都一樣，可以自己 Google 下，真的有心申請一上中學就要開始部署，美國大學看 whole child

用IB 成績都唔係容易入長春藤。
就算入咗，比咁多學費，是否值得，見仁見智。

至於入 Cambridge Natural Science,
其實 DSE 和 A level 更有利，
可以考三科理科。

大家都係睇下新聞八卦下，唔通講下會冇左忽肉？ 咁激動？IB 事實係蠶食緊神科位，咁你都可以話係IB 班人叻d 架嘛，定係你硬要focus 係“ 大概一半“去取義？

就算冇一半位，都唔代表你俾果堆資料的確outdate 架喎。

SINGAPORE - Students from Singapore who sat the International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma examinations last November have outperformed their global counterparts once again.

Their average score was 40.6 out of 45, higher than the global average of 32.37, as well as the Asia-Pacific average of 37.02.

More than half of this year's perfect scorers - 133 out of 238 - came from Singapore. Ever since it joined the two-year pre-university programme in 2005, the Republic has consistently produced more than half of the top scorers worldwide at the IB's November exam sitting.

Of the 2,156 students here who took the November exam, 99.15 per cent passed, compared with 87.02 per cent globally and 95.13 per cent in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Switzerland-based IB Organisation, which conducts the exams, said that 1,062 students in Singapore attained scores of 40 and above.

Tuesday 4 January 2022, Singapore: Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)’s Class of 2021 comprising 441 students achieved 100% passes at the November 2021 International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Examination. Of these 441 students, 403 (91%) obtained 40 points and above, while 365 students (82%) achieved a score of between 42 to 45 points. This set of results saw an improvement of the school’s average score to 42.7 points. The students received their results at 12 pm on 4 January 2022 in school.

我帶頭盔先，我無睇哂大家寫既野。

但我要為DSE設計辯護。當年DSE是參考IB架。一樣whole child.

DSE一樣推崇一文一理一藝，依家有D學校仲跟緊架。

DSE LS係抄EOK架

DSE一樣要求雙語

唔講或許唔知，“新”高中NSS要求社會服務、OLE等等架。

仲有唔好講乜嘢蠶食…
我哋和仔女都係香港人，我哋啲仔女都要讀書，
點解讀IB 入香港的大學就會叫做蠶食？
我哋啲仔女從小到大冇認真讀書嗎？
各方面冇培訓嗎？冇做義工嗎？冇關心社會嗎？
一大堆大陸學生可以讀香港大學，
咁又會點形容呢？

要參考就參考 IB 一年有成過百個狀元，參考 AL 一科有十幾% A*

咁d家長就會趨之若鶩，呢度EK 亦會少d紛爭…

是internally assessed coursework？還是只是externally assessed coursework？

要參考就參考 IB 一年有成過百個狀元，參考 AL 一科有十幾% A*

  

係喎，要參考埋量化寬鬆才對。設計時漏左。

佢哋講緊上年2021特別case，突然間冇得考試，突然間咁多狀元。係上年咁奇怪！

2020年 冇考試都冇咁多狀元。
學校PG 緊要過最後result.
但係大學當然會睇學校本身成績和信譽。

正如local school, 中學都有分 band1/2/3.
