Wow, your little girl is really a lucky princess! I hope I can have someone to take care my little one!
I don't know the price but I'll consider it just like private tutor (I think should be around $80-$120/hr???). But I prefer playgroup with NE speaking children more than a private playmate.

yes, 205 ! and yours?A3? actually cantonese classes hv A1 - A5,total 5 for am and 5 for pm, right? maderin only 1 for am and 1 for pm.

my son is in A3 room 202.  I do know 2 children in 205, they were my son's playgroup classmates last year.  My son has stopped crying, how about yours.

my son has joined the bee bee kids playgroup for 1 month but the foreigner mistress is too 'bad'... I still wonder whether to apply the N1 there or not?!!!

我所知,如读N(小组班)一定要2岁,我囡2003年9月8日出生,但维记今年8月6日开学时我囡不够两岁,学校安排9月9日入学.你可报名,但学校也会象我的情况一样,安排你仔06年12月入学.

I just saw this thread
Just wonder if I can have some advice from you lots

My son will attend the interview for K1 next year on Nov 5
But I haven’t worked out whether we should opt for HH or Causeway Bay

I have heard both good and bad comments about HH
I knew nothing about Causeway Bay
But Causeway Bay is more convenient as I will be taking my son to school by the MTR  
Any my mom will be picking him up after school

I am mandarine speaker. I applied this school due to they has mandarine + english.  But my experience of interview is really bad. My son (2 years old) was tired when the interview. He can speak in English and understand Mandarine, but he can not speak Mandarine. He did not answer questions to the teacher though he knew the answers. The teacher told me  immidiately there is no space for Mandarine / English available any more in front of my boy.  

How can you expect a boy at 2 year old to be always in goo mood? If the teach let me know the result later, maybe I would feel better.

小女在今年8月開學,是Victoria(海怡)的pre-nursery,我想分享一下我對這學校的感覺:

維多利亞的確是一所不錯的學校,雖然學費略貴一點. 小端宜開學首兩星期哭鬧非常,老師們幾乎總動員(連主任/校長也親力親為幫忙),十分有耐性,有時全程抱著小端宜,逗她玩,讓她建立安全感,兩星期後,小端宜便很喜歡上學,常和我提起學校的老師,同學,或進行過什麼活動,吃過什麼茶點,唱過什麼歌,說過什麼故事.........有時還要我和她輪流扮演老師和學生,在家中模擬上課的情形. 最值得欣賞的是,班主任會from time to time致電告訴我端宜在學校的表現和進度,有時端宜生病請假,班主任在晚上約八時便會致電我,問問端宜的情況有沒有好轉.

還有,雖然只開課三個月,但學校已舉辦過兩三次家長會,會上播放學生上課時的video,讓家長了解子女上學的情形. 又舉辦過很多活動,相信小朋友在這所學校讀書一定很多姿多彩。

端宜剛滿一歲便在kornhill分校上playgroup,後來我們搬到海怡半島,故apply海怡分校的pre-nursery. kornhill分校的李凌秀主任很好人,她很疼愛端宜的,端宜也很喜歡李主任,我們搬進海怡後,她們彼此都很捨不得大家. 我上個月的一個星期六曾經帶端宜回康怡分校探李主任,她跟端宜好像失散了的親人一樣擁抱哩!

Its really good that your daughter likes her school so much... i plan to apply for N1 (07/08) at Victoria HH next year as my baby is only 8 months now...  will your daughter continue to study at Victoria from K1 to K3?

I will let her to study K1 - K3 in Victoria.  Originally I planned to find some "one-dragon" schools for her (such as St. Paul, Sacred Heart...etc.), but now I've changed my mind.  It is because my daughter loves her school very much and she adapts to the places and peoples there.  My daughter is studying happily every day and I'm sure that she will continue to be studying happily there.  This is all moms hope, it's quite simple -- a happy school life!

Just wondering if you're going to let your daughter study in local school.  Some of the mama from Vic said they will change to other kinder cos they're afraid it will be too hard for the kids to adapt into P1 while completing the kinder years in Vic.

Do u mean after studying in Victoria K1-K3, it will be difficult for kids to adapt local Primary?  Why is that?
