職員 非常 nice 及有詳細解釋如果唔交交件之問題.
感覺好舒服.
雖然我唔入讀多, 但對此學校亦想讚揚一下

學校話主要先訂書薄, 因要特別印刷.
而校服不會有問題, 可以遲d 再決定,
銀行自動轉帳亦不會有問題, 可以先交 copy,
正本由家長自己交比 bank, 唔讀到時唔好比 bank,
扣唔到數
而 6月會再請家長交 9月學費尾數,
同埋帶小朋友度身買校服

I firstly wish your daughter good luck in applying for Kentville.  I try to answer your questions.  If other moms find them inaccurate, please correct.

１）學費
        For 2005-06 : $2,477 x 10 installments

２）係唔係分上，下午班
        Yes.  But all K2s are pm.

３）老師好唔好，嚴唔嚴
        It depends.  I think most of them are nice.  My friend's daughter used to study there and I never heard any complaint from her.

４）中英文程度 OK 唔 OK
      Not sure about the English standard.  I think it's above average.  Let your child attend some phonics class is more important as well as parental support.  Chinese is definitely very strong.

５）報名時要交 D 乜
       Do you mean the application procedure?  The school will announce the details around mid Oct / early Nov.  You can get the application form by post or in person.  You will be asked to keep the slip attached with the application form.  It has all the details for the interview.

6) Interview 時，又要帶D乜
      True copy of your child's birth cert. and the slip.

７）要唔要幫女女整個 profile
      No need.

８）我想問搭校車係咪要自己找�學校有 provide,如有的話，可以話我知嗎
        There is school bus provided.

９）幾時會開始　interview
      Around end of Nov / early Dec

１０）interview 又會問甚麼問題
           There are two interviewers.  One for your child and one for you!  Questions for you such as : Who takes care of your child?  When does your child start to walk and talk? - all related to your understanding of your child's development.  My experience is not to just give one sentence to the question.  Eleborate it as much as you could.

I think is 8:45am as the private car in Tsuen Wan will take child at 7:50am

am session : Mon-Fri   8:45am-12:10pm
                   Teachers are available am students at 8:30am (studends are requested to leave the school by 12:25pm)

pm session : Mon-Fri  1:35pm - 5:00pm
                    Teachers are available pm students at 1:20pm (students are requested to leave the school by 5:15pm)

- No

- I don't think so.  Just tell her the truth and stress that you do spend a lot time with your kid at night and weekends (to show you do care about your child).  In fact, I see there are a lot of maids outside the school waiting for the children.

3) And what kind of questions will they ask the children?
- They will ask the kid to paly a toy.  Then they will show him/her a picture (with different people or animals) and ask what they are ... Finally, the kid will be asked to sing a song.

4) Are they using Madarin or Cantonese to teach Chinese?
- I never heard that they have Mandarin class.  Probably Cantonese.

5) So you suggest me to take some phonics courses outside? Which one will you recommend then?
- My friend told me there's no need to take any English class outside except for phonics.  In fact, phonics is very important to develop a child's English reading and writing ability.  Jolly phonics, Letterland and Phonic Plus from 幼聯 are good as far as I know.
