chuppy,
Hoi-ting did attend some courses in L.... Key. I find that it provides a good stepping stone for her to practise public speech and story-telling. Any training centre can do, I think. Learning from outside is effective as kids can pick up quickly from others. However, the training provided is not very systematic and well organized (be it good or bad ?), e.g. no fixed time table, free to take leave meaning that they don't have fixed classmates, they will only mark on the book of your kid when he/she attend a class, even the parents can stay in the classroom, people are free to go in/out, the competitions organized by them are not really professional (only one judge) and I doubt the recognition of the competition results by the schools. In fact, hoi-ting did not join the class after the competitions taken place in summer vacation. I may consider register for their competitions in the future if I cannot find other better alternatives. For the courses, it depends, probably just attend one or two times before competition. Should you require further information, please let me know. For your reference only. |
