Why Kingston needs $80000 while Victoria needs $52000 ?
Kingston charges $80000 but it doesn't mean $80000 is the minimum fee for providing PYP, Right ?
Victoira needs $52000 this doesn't mean someone has to pay for the difference of $28000. $52000 is just enough. However, $52000 is also not the minimum fee to provide PYP in HK. Some other schools may charge a lower school fee but providing the same or better standard PYP course.

Why some kindergartens need $100000 school fees but some just need $20000 ? You just can't directly compare the school fees between two schools.

將價就貨, properly yes. But no 將貨就價 in IB courses as they have to meet the IBO standards and be authorized and audited by the IBO.

Philip, is Victoria a private school ? Just heard that the annual fee is around $50K (please correct me if I'm wrong). For Logo, annual fee plus government subsidy is also around $50K. Why Victoria can make it but not Logo ? Can you explain more ?

Victoria is a Primary School and just provide PYP 'gima' but Logos want to provide IBD woh....

Is it comparable ?

Recruitment of qualified native English/putonghua teacher is only a money issue. Then what is exactly the other problem ?

How much should the IBDiploma cost more than the IB PYP ? What is the estimated school fee of Victoria in the upper secondary level ? Actually, I'm expecting the answer from Philip.

Oh really. I don't think so. Maybe most of people will care how much they earn so they change their job easily. If your assumption is correct, Logos could employ NET from harvard, cambridge, Oxford, etc. Then Logos will be the top school in the world loh.

What is solid evdience? Would you mind explain it clearly? Or you can provide the oppositive evidence to us to prove Logos is the BEST School as Mr. Yau, the principal of logos, said that.

In Logos website, we were told that Logos seems has provided IBD already loh woh. But the FACT is not loh. Could this be a solid evidence ?

Thanks yukiwong, I wrote a complaint letter to EMB lah. Actually, I think EMB won't do anything even they have received the complaint letter. You know, I am not a reporter, famous people, powerful people, ma....not like some parents of logos. hehe :  : : : : :

Although I am not a Accountant, I think I can calculate a simple equation here gei.

現時直資學校所獲得的資助，是根據辦學年期兩級制 ，並以每名合資格的學生可得到一個資助學位平均成本的資助額而計算。非本地學生並無資格領取直資津貼。(From EMB website)   
Primary:
1-6   HK$21,314. per pupil/year.
Secondary:
1-3   HK$28,973.
4-5   HK$25,798. per student/year.

Logos' situation:
      Primary One - Three = around 620 pupils
      Secondary One = ~200 (?)
      Total around 820 students.

If all classes have students, the total number should be Primary (~1200) and Secondary (1000) ==> around 2200 students.

The difference of present is 2200-820 = 1380. That's why logos need wait for a few years to employ NET/Mandarin teacher lah.

Philip, maybe we misunderstand their problem lah. Are we? :  :  :
Logos will have lots of 資助 from EMB/government when their classes are fulled of students.

Oops, I am so worry about their teachers who are working in logos rightnow. Maybe Mr. Yau or a new principal will fire them after logos move to IBD programme. Because they are not NET/Mandarin teacher.

首先唔係想撩人鬧交：不過有感而發，我講係真人真事，如有令真道家長唔高興，講聲sorry 先

我係第二個網上識左一個太太，亦見過面，佢好樸素斯文。佢臨開課問我點去倪學校，講開佢話一肚眼淚。

事源係佢女好早已比真道收左入讀小一。但好唔好彩，先生突然被裁，衡量仲有個細要讀幼稚園後，佢怕負擔真道學費唔來，主動打電話被真道校長，其實佢已打定輸數，但即管問真道校長有無方法/基際申請學費減免一段時間 或可推薦佢小朋友去第二間小學。。。。。

好可惜真道校長只係話"咁你個小朋友，唔arm 讀我地學校啦 ! " 跟手就收左佢線，

呢個呀太好失望，佢話已打定輸數，唔會讀架啦。只不過試埋至後努力先啦，佢話以為點都會聽到校長起碼的輔衍說話，或客套的安慰說話，但無嘮。後來再至電就再駁唔到校長接聽喇。

佢話佢失望並唔係入唔到真道去讀，而係一直以來佢對校長的專敬，學校理念的認同，直覺校長係一個極有愛心同體諒別人的教育家，但原來好多野都只係佢自己一廂情願。

佢後來去左官立間天主教學校"倪"，佢話d神職人員好幫佢，令佢有返d安慰!

雖然學校唔孩善堂，但希望係處理呢d問題上，校方可注意下嘮 ，圓滑d 大家都好受d丫嗎 !
