I told Vianca about this & she asked me " Calix 有冇事呀? 佢好返未呀?" I told her Calix will be fine on Monday. Then she said "咁星期一見佢啦!"

Calix was 99.9999% recovered after having a 3-hour nap today...don't know why his sickness came so sudden and went so fast...
I asked Calix again about the photos but he still said "no need to bring any photo".  I think he didn't pay attention to what Ms. Chan said in class.

Also, I reviewed the cards and book with him.  He told me that they had learnt:

衣: 衣服 (so all the 3 Chinese words were taught)

C: for "a car" and "a cake"

shape: square (I just found out that it's Ms. Lam who teaches them about numbers and shapes)

Calix said he missed the teachers and classmates and wanted to go to school...

many things to update

1) i've checked cassidy about the chinese word card... and she knre all the words from the previous weeks and all of them should have  配詞
大，大海; 手，左手右手; 腳，左腳右腳; 耳，耳朵；眼，眼睛；口，門口窗口；鼻，鼻子；衣，衣服.. but the 人, she forgot the 配詞.. all of them got 動作

2) about the recitation , three balls...

a little ball, a bigger ball, a great big ball;
i see;
now let us count the balls
one two three

the goodmorning song;

good morning, good morning, good morning dear teachers;
good morning, good morning, good morning dear friends.
(she will do the bowing)

3) and she mentioned a new song about 大腳板, i think she's taught this week

something like that

大腳板跳跳跳
大腳板跑跑跑
大腳板走走走
走到倦時休息了

i maybe mixed up with the first 3 lines

4) letter B except a bird and a boat.. they also learned a banana

she also sings the rhyme from the 2 chinese books

5) cassidy asked me to bring her baby photo back school too... she told me to bring 1 photo only

6) she finially asked me to do the flower coloring.. haha.. so late... she told me ms chan asked her to "remember" to color.. in order she can give her a star besides it.. "but the book already stamped 我學會了" haha.. coz i didnt helped her to do so.. though i knew it from here.. i wait for her when will she remember to do the coloring

Cassidy is so smart...she could remember all the things and more importantly, she could tell you what she had learnt!  

Calix can recognize all the Chinese words but his 配詞 is poor.  When I asked him about the 配詞, he'll create his own sets sometimes, e.g. 大：大人(coz he'd learnt this from the other Chinese story book); 腳：腳指，腳板；手：手指，手板，拍手.  I don't know if kids should follow the "model answers" learnt at school when asked by the teachers in future's assessment.  If so, he must fail, haha...

I'd confirmed with Ms. Chan today that kids are requested to bring a baby photo coz they'll get a new story book of "認識自己" next week.

Joyce also told me Ms Chan had asked them to bring one of their baby photos to school.  When I asked her which group she belongs to, then she told me she belongs to watermelon group, just same as Cassidy, "Lok Lok"
She has sung some songs to me lately.

Calix "blows water" before by saying Chloe is in apple group.

Really hope that more and more moms will join this forum.  It's really a good platform for us to share about our kids' school life.  Look forward to seeing you all in the coming parents' day!

Dear all,

When Joyce was back home from school, she showed me a new textbook given by Ms. Chan.  she was very excited and urged to finish the homework by herself (textbook P. 8, 10) and then she told me Ms. Chan had asked her when is her birthday......but she forgot it and will tell Ms. Chan later.
Joyce also told me she learned C for car, C for cake and C for cow from school.  Moreover, she told me she drew a happy face in school and will let me see later.

and today she got a packet a tissue... with winnie the pooh on it... she told me is given by a friend from her... a new name.. called.. 袁樂津 a girl's name.. dunno she is in her group also or not

The Chinese name of Vianca is 源樂津. Cassidy can tell her name so right. Perfect!

They are both belong to Watermelon group. It's wonderful to have a so smart classmate Cassidy in the same table.

I gave Vianca the Winnie the Pooh tissue pack this morning in her schoolbag. Maybe it's a little gift Vianca wanted to present to Cassidy. so funny! Hope u don't mind.
