I guess swmming is kind of risky interest class. I won't let my maid to take my boy there 'cos she won't have the sense of emergency to handle in case of accident.

Hi parents,

Can I clarify one point. See if you have any idea. Last week, we received a notice on the syllabus 1 & 2 stating what they have learned at school. For example, a - apple, aeroplane, b - bird, ??? (I forgot). May I know if they just learned a picture and know how to pronounce what it is or they can recognize the words "aeroplane" , "apple", "bird", etc?

Same as you. I would like to enrol swimming for Him Him 'cos he's also not good in his respiratory system. He easily gets cough, especially during autumn and winter. He's got tracheitis twice last winter. I'm really worried. So, I hope he can get stronger through swimming but my mother feels worried that it will has adverse effect that he will cough much easier in winter. I'm still struggling what to do.

anyone know whether they need to do any homework at home of  "快樂的一天"?
as i just took out the book and have a look (this is the first time i read this book infrontof Tungtung). Then she suddenly said, need to complete the homework on page 3, 5, & 6. i am so confuse but still let her do and remind her she should tell mami before i asked.....etc

So, i dont know whether she is right or not.....

Just remember to enrol (by dropping in the application form plus cheque to the drop-off box) on the enrollment date. FYI, kids over 3 yr old will swim on his / her own. No more 親子班. Their teacher ratio is about 1:6.

Yes, kids might get a cold easily during winter. But as long as they don't have a fever, it should be okay. As i said, diving suit is an essential item. They shouldn't feel cold in the water if they move a lot.

very true ya...i also can not let my maid to take Preston swimming (i guess we all are very familiar and had our experiences with our helpers practices and habits   ) ...
I've arranged a class on late Friday night...so either dad or me must hurry home to take him for swimming.  Luckily...we found other friends to make up a class with time schedule..that serves us well.

On Wed when i was going through my son's schoolbag ..he wanted to complete the book. So i did it together with him.  
Usually..when i checked his schoolbag...he would take his book and teach me...because he likes to play "teacher".  But if he does not show any initative to teach me...i would not check with him...
And that's what i liked about KV...they study and learn at school..no need of parents remember bringing this and that to school...
hahaha..sorry i am such a lazy mom.

since it is getting colder these few days..maybe u can start with Himhim next summer..because once they catch cold..they will get tracheitis easily throughout winter ...it was a big headache for me last year...i have a collection of doctor name cards..soup receipes..vitamins.etc

I asked Anson about the book this morning and she said she need to do the works at home.  She rare share her school life with me if I don't push her.

Do anyone knows when will be their 1st birthday party and how will it be arranged?

Yesterday, when I ate a banana, Him Him suddenly sang a song/told me a rhyme: "馬騮仔,馬騮仔,食香蕉,食香蕉!". It's really funny. Did you all hear it before?

1) i heard the parent's day will be held on Saturday.

2) Adrian loves singing this song. Check this out with your kids. it's very funny.  手指呀手指公, 想買邊一個? (same melody of Itcy wincy spider)

3) My son often recite the poems '幼稚園' and '上學去' (lyrics to be found in their chinese books 1 and 2. ) Very funny!!!

I haven't heard of the songs and poem from Anson.  Your kids are so good!
Btw, Anson bring back a beautiful plastic Hello Kitty name tag last Friday, she said Miss So gave her.  I ask her why. She said coz she pronounce "Apple" very nice. Then, she continue to say the name tag cannot hold onto her school bag coz Miss So will then need to see the Principal.  Her voice is so serious that I don't dare to put it onto her school bag.

Yesterday I asked Him Him if he could sing me a song about "手指公",he really sang to me. But it's funny that the melody is another one (not itcy wincy spider) and the lyric's a little bit different:
"手指呀手指公,送俾邊一個,手指呀手指公,送俾K1A!"

He also sang the song about balls. I could only heard of "A little ball, a bigger ball, I play a ball, let's count them, one, two, three, bomb" (something like that)

Really really funny!

Yesterday, Anson can draw a 火柴人 on a boat with sea wave.  I am surprise that she can draw that in 有紋有路 manner as I haven't send her to any drawing class.  She said she learnt it from KV.
