My son is studying whole day now, bilingual class in a.m. and international class in p.m. He is in K2. There are 24 children in the morning and only 9 in the afternoon.

He enjoys his school life very much, and he talks about his teachers and classmates a lot. (Looks like he enjoys his Eng class more....)

I think it is definitely better than letting him stay home like a "king". He can make good use of the afternoon hours to interact with more people and participate in more activities. This combination is good for him. He can learn Chinese in the morning and his English is also very good now. However, I think it is quite odd because he has 2 different parents' handbooks and 2 "communication bags" from the 2 teachers. He has also got 2 different assessment from the 2 teachers.

Of course he will be very tired after the p.m. class, and then he usually sleeps for 2 hours after school.

The time is like this:
a.m.: 9:00 - 12:00

lunch, break

p.m.: 1:15 - 4:15

but actually the school starts dismissing the children at 4:00 pm. My son reaches home before 4:15 p.m. by schoolbus already!

今日去美孚think 交報名表，佢話中英班(2yrs class)只是逢星期二、四有英文老師，點解唔係日日都有英文課，唔明??

I've applied 2yrs class for my son as well.  He's supposed to join in Jan05.  How about your kid?  My son is attending the playgroup on Tue and Thur.

MeiFoo and MaOnShan branches are sharing one English teacher.  As MaOnShan has more classes so they have three days in a week (Mon, Wed, and Fri), and MeiFoo has two days (Tue and Thur).  MeiFoo branch will have its English daily from Jan05.  You can read the previous messages for further details.

will your son in morning class?  my son will be 2yrs old in mid-dec so think said he can join in jan05.  however, we haven't got the interview 'coz think said it's not hurry to see my son so soon.  they said it's ok to see my son now if we want but it's better to wait when he's older.

係呀, 我小朋友沒有午睡的, 他回家時是很累的, 所以他通常一定要在dinner前睡一覺! 晚上等我回來才做功課, 講故事lor, 可以搞到12:00才睡的!
