where shall we meet this Friday? After dropping off the kids, right? At KV entrance or at Festival walk?  pls advise.
btw, Pak Yin's mom said she could join us too!

2) do our kids have to dress up on Oct 23? that's not an official Halloween party... any suggestions?

3) adrian and I have 'made' an animal by yellow leaves. Details: the last page of the textbook. I heard many kids handed in la!

Both are fine with me. I've no idea actually as it's the first time I take Chun Him to school since K2...haha..

I'm still thinking what Chun Him will wear. Since it's his birthday party at KV, I guess he may dress up a bit special for celebration.

For the last page of the chinese book, I've asked him if he gotta do this, but he said no....just need to make the paper windmill...ai...don't know if I should trust him or not. I heard from other classes that they need to do both, but he insisted no need to do the last page, so I just give up.

Did Wingtung told you to make the windmill and the last page to assemble the leaves? I guess she's more reliable....

Janice, no la. Wingtung is not reliable ..usually, she will not tell me about school. Of course, she didn't let me know need to do the last page of textbook...anyway, will check with her tonight.

Preston rushed me for many days to complete the last page of the book by making a dragonfly...or other animals.

It is too bad i can not join u this friday..have fun !! i bought Preston the Ultraman costume..maybe it is too much for the school party...

Yes, I prefer lunch + tea as well, super sandwiches ok for me.

I am also afriad dress up with Halloween are so "special" in the birthday party....Wingtung will dress up as pumpkin.

Chun Him insisted to do it 2 days ago, we made it together at night. I don't know if it's true or not, but he's already submitted to Miss Wong yesterday.

Good Morning!

I will only bring Chris to school tomorrow and his daddy will pick him up after the party.  I may need to go to work in the afternoon   My counterpart is on vacation, I need to be in the office just in case the big boss calls back.

For the leaves artwork, Chris has completed it on Tuesday night and submitted to his teacher on Wednesday.  

For paper windmill, he did ask me to make one for him last Friday but he only plays at home and never bring to school.

I will not attend the parent day on this Sat because the time conflicts Jaden and Chris' schedule.  I only reviewed with his class teacher over the phone but she didn't talk much.  Did the teacher show you anything about your kids' results / performance at the parent day?

for the windmilll, Wingtung has done with my maid one week ago, but i dont know it is for KV and she didnt bring back to school until today...haha

so, i have helped her to do a new one and bring today...

for the leaf animal, i asked her many times, she said "dont know", but sometimes said "Yes" but i found the last page is lost...oh! my god.....
i am on 1/2 day today morning and will bring her to school today, let me check with Miss Wong directly....haha

she seems dreaming when she go to school....
i found she always forget somethings during K2, but K1 is not, i guess maybe she is so tire on PM.

BTW, she doesnt like "pumpkin", so, i change, just wear the wing with jean only...

Chun Him also has similar problems of forgetting something at school. You know what, Miss Wong called me on Monday and told me that he forgot to do 2 drawing papers in the past 2 weeks. I've asked him many times and he said it's no need to do 'cos there is already a tick at the back. So, I just trusted him and filed them. Eventually, Miss Wong called me he's the only one who forgot to submit the papers TWICE!!! Then I asked him if he needs to do them. He then said "Yes" (similar thing happened for the signature of the dictation!). I really feel angry with him...not only forgetting something but saying something in opposite. Miss Wong also commented him that his progress is not up to standard....ai...all the comments from her are negative....very frustrated. I gotta talk more with her tomorrow during parents' day. Will talk to you more tomorrow lunch.....ai.

Hi Janice, no la. She did nothing on this. Hv a short chat with Miss Wong, she said wingtung is not concentrated during the lesson, sometime she will chat with others. Same as you, I am so frustrated too.
She's worst than chun him as she is a "big girl"....:(

in my opinion, you could arrange another meeting with the classteacher. i think you'll know chris' performance much better during face-to-face meeting. my meeting was around 30 mins. Now i understand more adrian's teacher's approach. likewise, she knows his background more. i believe it's a win-win situation.

I talked to our headteacher regarding kids chatting.  She said they allowed kids chatting quietly for sometimes..such as tea break.  
Midco...kids can day dreaming even they were sitting quietly ..

Mary,

I'm afraid Chirs' class teacher won't be available for a short meeting with me again.  She told me she needs to leave the school after work for evening study.  In the afternoon, she needs to 跟車 everyday, when she arrives the school she will be busy to look after the children!  That means she is not available before or after school for a chat. That's why she only had a phone conversation with me.  The teacher also says the 1st parents day doesn't reflect too much of your children's proformance as it was just a revision of K1.  The 2nd parents day would tell us more as our children have started to learn something new and they could comment more about our kids.  Lets wait and see!

Chris is just a type of 不過不失, I'm not surprised his teacher doesn't comment much on him.  May be "no news is good news"

Midco and Prestonmon,

Chris' teacher also mentioned Chris will talk with his classmates sometimes during class.  Chris told me that their teachers only allow them talking with each other quietly after finishing snack.
