My son switched to the high concentration one in March 06.  He also got the sleeping problem.  He usually goes to bed at 10:10pm and can fall asleep before 11:00pm and wake up at around 7:30am.  After taking the high concentration of MB12, he would stay up until 11:00 or even 11:30.  However, he will wake up at 8:00 or 8:30 next morning.

Other than the sleeping problem, his hyper-activity seems comparatively the same as before.

I will continue the injection for further month to see how it goes.

Thanks for the reply.

For the listening therapy, it is recommended by our OT, my son listened to Ease #1 by the end of April.  My son seems very sensitive to sound.  Please click here for the details.  Then we change to Mozart for about a week and he was not so afraid of the sound of the ventilator fan now.  Even if he was afraid, we taught him to cover his ears.  

Siu_Ming: Is it you yesterday in Little Giant?  I could not remember when and where I saw you before on spot.  Once I saw your post here, I remember I met you in the Christmas Party.  Hope have the chance to talk to you next time.  BTW, any reference books re: AIT recommended?

I've ordered the Ease's CD series but hasn't started yet.  I probably will start this audio therapy on coming Saturday morning.  I'll let you know whether my son can tolerate it.  

For the MB12 injection, You may try to give the injection in the morning to avoid sleep disturbance.  My son used to lie awake till 11:00pm after the injection.  Surprisingly, the side effect subsided after we shifted the injection in the morning.

My son tried the EASe series as well.  He used EASEe 2 and 4, together with Therapeutic Listening (Mozart and Apricot).  These were suggested by the OT who was doing SI programme with him.  There were very slight improvement in attention and focus.  But the effects went away afterwards.  It's really difficult to tell if it is useful or not as things can change and even when a problem is fixed at one point, there may be another source causing the same problem at the other.  You never can tell.  But auditory intervention works well for some.

If I remember correctly, your son has done the Immune premium panel, right?  Did Dr. Trodd prescribe any medication for the virus issue?  I don't think you should stop the supplements as they might help to boost up immune system during the medication treatment.  What did Dr. Trodd say?

we did the autism panel blood test (by Immunosciences Lab). actually i am quite confused what it comprises. we only got the brief report which says a bit allergic to milk and low natural killer cell(5.9  vs ref 20-50) plus half dozen other things fallen in the abnormal. doc didnt really give much interpretation. we got SNT, polybac 8 (probiotic), selenium, iron, nystatin('cos we dont want diflucan), fish oil and B12 spray.

as for the stool test, it has some abnormal figures suggestive of causing diarhea but our problem is constipation.

my boy is actually having mumps. i learned from Dino the kids in another family using their service is also having it but we dont use the same therapists. i suspect we might have got it from the doc's place because the timing fits the incubation period(2-3wks)(well, also fits with when we first started the trainign).  i guess quite some kids do not have MMR vaccine yet these days.  the key thing is to watch out for signs of menigo-encephalits (possible complication as by med book) along with or following mumps.

i wonder if the supplements would also feed the virus.

If I want to ask Dr. Trodd for the immune system blood test, what should I call it?  There are so many terms in different lab such as immune deficiency test  etc.

The one I did was thiol test which is different.  I called Dr Trodd's office today to make the appointment for taking the blood sample for the Immune Premium Panel test (but Dr Trodd called it Premium Autism Panel).   As checked with Dr Trodd, fasting is not required.

Concerning The Premier Autism Panel test, is there any treatment possible if the result is positive? For example: the measles and streptoccal. Do you know the case of Dino, what treatment did he use?
I really want to know especially the method to clear the measles because my son has received the MMR vaccine, for mercury we have the chelation therapy but from the books I read there is no specific therapy for the chronic measles infection.

I have no idea whether measles and streptoccal could be identified in the test or not.  But we feel that test should be able to give you some insight on the state of the immune system and whether viral infection is presented or not.  Kawai may be able to help to ask Dino for further details of the test.

Regarding Dino's case, please see Kawai's previous message.  It seems that Dino found the cue of the viral that affected his son after the test and hence use medication to kill the viral.

Can anyone share experiences in using Diflucan?
We went to see Dr. Trodd this morning and my son was precribed a course of Diflucan to address the problem of hyperactivity which we suspect that may be caused by yeast outgrowth.  Could someone enlighten me about what effects, positive and negative, may be expected after giving the yeast killer?  Thanks.

We've got a mixed picture after giving MB12 injection for four months.  The gains include improved language use and conversation,more social interactions and care about other's feelings etc, while on the downside we have hyperactivity, being more distractable and defiant, as weel as sleep disturbances.  Dr. Trodd asked us to use Super Nu-Thera instead of ASD-plex.  We take that.  But we just got a new tub of ASD-plex two weeks ago and have used just a little of it...it's rather expensive

My son had 2 courses of Diflucan in September 2005, one course in December 2005 and one course in May 2006.  I didn't see any negative effect.  And since Diflucan is some kind of 抗真菌藥, I found it is really effective for controlling yeast problem.  But please be aware it cannot be used for long period.  According to Dr. Trodd, we are just using 1/10 of what our children can have, so it is save, he said.

BTW, any parents know where can I buy the Blue Diamond Almond Milk?  Seiyu in Shatin is out of stock.

Yes, there's medication as well as supplement for the streptoccal.  According to Dr. Amy's protocol,  obsessive-complusive disorder is thought to be
associated with strep. IP6 and benfotiamine may help to reduce the behaviour.  There's a cocktail's herb supplement which includes cranberry,oregon grape, uva ursi, etc. It is also recommended by Dr. Amy.

For the measles, don't know if there's any medication for removing the virus from the vaccines.  I've been reading some threads about sequential homeopathic treatment which has been helping patients to remove the virus and toxins from each individual vaccine.
