Before is three or four teachers in適應週, but now is only two (Miss.Sung & Miss.Lau)

No.  I mean once they arrive the classroom, they are requested to put the school bag into the draw then go to toilet by themselve.  No need to raise hand, because is requested by the teacher.

我個囝最近唔肯講我知學校情況，我有d擔心佢有冇吸收到，由細到大我同佢都係講英文，暑假時已經同佢惡補中文，聽到你哋d小朋友會唱中文兒歌，叫佢唱，佢次次都話tomorrow, :cry: 真係唔知佢响學校學到d什麼???

老師又話唔好自己教先，如果唔係上堂就冇興趣，你知喇KV測驗唔比我哋知，到時抱疍返嚟，點算呀!!

而家中文 / 國語同樣重要架, 仲好多外國人學 tim.
Madarin 己計劃加入英國的一些中學定小學呀甘.  

我就中文好差, 因以前祟洋.
我都有好似你甘想用英文同佢溝通, 但有幾次經驗見到仔仔直頭reject madarin.  I think it is time for me to let him try madarin.   一起努力互勉之.

我囡是 K1A (Dorset Road) am class, 昨日我返家佢馬上取出書本， 指住 "大" "小" 二個字讀俾我聽， 之後重做埋手勢， "大" 字就伸開心腳， "小" 字就縮埋一舊。  "A" 字就將手高舉頭頂。  佢話學校好多嘢玩， 有波波池 (但我唔知真定假， 如有其他媽咪知道請告知)、 搖搖船 (老師推)、 爬爬 (我想是操場內之鋼架)、 盪鞦韆、 滑梯、 又有得餵魚魚， 所以佢非常鍾意返學。  

其實我個囡都唔係講好多， 係呢度你已可以得知好多KV學生在校情況， 至於去 V V， 佢又好似真係冇提過， 我又未問過， 等我今日返去瞭解吓先。

以前(早好幾年前, 而家有冇改唔知呀下)  Miss So 講過 第一次測驗, 佢地之前會向學校做好多次預測先架. So 差不多會make sure 個個有好成績先測驗.  因為要比信心佢地.  所以想當年我女第一次test, 好多100分架.  放心啦.. 要驚我Jerry仲驚啦, 佢無心向學架.

Kinsey seldom tells us about KV but last night b4 he went to bed, he told a story to mommy, "Once upon a time, there is a boy called Kinsey and a girl called Hana. They followed one another to washroom but they cannot go together. Then, he see Hana later. They like KV and Ms Lee. The end. "

I have showed Hana, Crystal and Wai Long's photos to him but he can only remember Hana.

Can you find out from Hana what they are doing at KV. My maid said Kinsey enjoys life at KV although he had been punished by Ms Lee on some occasions. Glad to see great improvement of Hana. Cheers.

我個女對中文都係冇興趣, 因我家有菲傭, 所以在家多以英文溝通, 佢BB時我無為意, 同佢講中文就無反應, 如果用英文就好有反應, 所以就常用英文與她溝通, 加上我要返工, 平時多數工人同佢一齊, 在上nursery之前, 她不是太聽得懂廣東話, 在上年開始interview kinder 時, 我才開始多點跟她說廣東話, 所以現在她廣東話還可以, 但英文就比較流利, 現在我還嘗試開始與她一同邊聽普通話cd邊看故事書, 但她常常拒絕, 幫我關掉cd player.  不過我常常都有拿出來給她聽, 雖然她都可能都是拒絕, 但聽得一句得一句啦!

我今年暑假帶囝囝去join普通話playgroup,囝囝好抗拒,就是最簡單的指令都好少理，一於自自同自己玩，後來弄到我到最後一堂都冇心機帶佢去。之後我反省過，當小朋友一點也聽不明就會冇興趣。

我在網上找到Longman有一套教幼兒的普通話書及cd,裏面d兒歌都好好聽，於是就買了book 1 and 2, 有時間就比佢聽吓，而家間鐘都有同佢講一兩句，但佢又自創了一些我都聽唔明的普通話，好好笑𠺢!

      之前派書本,老師打錯咗我個囡個名,我用便條貼在手冊面告訴老師請修改,但放學回來便條依然沒動,所以我把它貼在手冊內頁,心想老師蓋印時一定看見,放學回來便條貼在手冊面,我想應該看到吧!所以把它取走,再多隔一天,老師才把名字label除去,改貼用手寫的!

      但我心想為什麼不寫幾個字在便條或手冊,等我唔駛猜猜下呢?坐校車跟老師少見面,真的有些不方便! :cry:

Hi alc,

I've the same feeling with you before. My daughter lost her snack box two days ago. I'm not sure whether she is left in the private light bus or at school? I had called the private light bus helper to check and see if the box was left in their van. At the same time, I’ve written a short note attached inside my daughter’s handbook to her class teacher. At first, I hope the teacher will call me once she received my message. But I did not receive any call from her in that afternoon. I feel quite sad on this because I heard from other mum that some class teachers have a close contact with parents but why my daughter’s teacher doesn’t do that? :cry:

Better than nothing was that when I returned home on that night, the teacher has posted a short note in my daughter’ handbook that she has found the snack box in the classroom & asked me to clean it before use. I then feel a bit comfortable 咋.

你就好啦！揾得番，我個女20/9唔見咗水杯杯蓋蓋都揾唔番...，我今日下午打比Ms Chong 佢都話冇發現，話唔知會唔會係校巴到？因為阿女同一日唔見咗2個杯蓋，今朝係校巴揾到濕手巾個杯蓋，但司機叔叔話冇其他杯蓋喎！等我聽日再問下先！我覺得Ms Chong 都幾nice 呀！我都好同意您所說: 坐校車跟老師係久缺咗D溝通嘅！ :-|  :-|

Update on Dorset 1A class:

I finally got Hana to tell me SOMETHING about 1A.... I pretended to be a student, and asked Miss Hana to teach me something. She opened her textbook and said some Chinenglish ( I can't understand it)... but next she said, "Dai !" (Big), then she held her baby brother's hand and said "Sau!" (Hand), and "Girt" (leg). My husband and I are quite happy and impressed.

She also showed me hands over her head, "A" for apple, A for aeroplane. I don't know if she knows it from KV, or from her other classes, but I know KV is teaching that for sure.

She also said "MO" today. For a few minutes, she got so frustrated b/c I couldn't understand her... finally she emphasized her words, "Mmmm HO !" (No !) ... hahahah, so funny.

Miss Lee said she's slowly picking up the Chinese Commands, and willing to say some Chinese now.

I was beginning to wonder if we should give up b/c she doesn't know any Chinese, it must be so SUN FOO in there for 3 and half hours with so many children and teachers who don't speak her language at all. I was wondering if I should start looking for an international school again.....

We are hanging in there.

Saw Kinsey today, he doesn't say much afterschool.

Didn't see Crystal today, b/c I didn't drop her off, I just picked her up.
