really happy to see you here again. Hope to get some advice from you.
As I said in other postings, my son is Asperger, going to be 7 soon, in mainstream international school(ESF), he has improved in many aspects except his social skills, we have put him to Heep Hong social group, where most kids are Chinese speaking so I don't see much progress, which is understandable. Then I let him joined watchdog social group, that is English speaking one, but still didn't make a difference.
My son is very talkative...he likes to talk only about his interests(his interest would shift every few months), he can play with older children because they treat him like a baby, his peers laugh and reject him. I am very worried that he would become a target for bullying........he is a bit clumsy and cannot protect himself very well. I just wonder if there is anything I can do now, my primary concern is to improve his social skills............at least not to stand out as so weird. Any advice please?
