Just look into the pupils of their eyes. My son has dilated pupils. Most of the time they are larger than normal. When I first encounter this info., I don't know how to measure too even they have suggested size given. I just compared my son to the other kids and found it out.

This is also related to weak muscle tone. Their bone of the shoulder at the back can be stick out prominently. If you walk behind them, u will find that their posture is a little bit strange. Some people will think they are girlish.

Please share with us the papers you found.  I've never heard of this caution before since OLE is a very useful herb to help relief of cough as well as yeast infection.

My son didn't like it at the first instance, but I played with him trying to catch as much clay (do not mix 100% well in this case and leave some residual) as possible and gradually he likes this game.  I told him that those are mud and let's see who can get more!

Sorry that I didn't bookmark anything about this.

I remember that day I bought the OLE from Green Concept after talking to you, then came across some mesage and grasp that main point. Since I don't understand the medical terms I just leave the details.

Dear all,

My Son is taking rice milk but as I read from the three different brands he has been taken, there is no calcium inside and because he has a low allergy to soy protein, I am wondering how he can get this mineral for his daily requirement as he cannot tolerate cow's milk. Any suggestion for calcium supplement in the form of capsule in terms of hundreds of mg ? Thank you !

You may try Rice Dream if you don't mind it contains 0.02% gulten.  Almond Breeze is another good choice.  Both of the above 2 brands are calcium added.

For the calcium supplement, if I remember correctly, Kirkman's cal+mag liquid is available at Little Giants.

A friend of mine asked if there is a Vit B12 cream.  I only knew that Vit B12 is a/v in the nasal spray and injection form. Any cream form?  Please advise.

thanks for your sharing re MB12 (some 4 pages ago).  My son is in his ususal self at school now.  The last week was another good week and the special needs coordinator of his school reported that he has greatly improved in conversation and has a lot of immediate responses in class and one-to-one reading.  So it is very likely that it was the post-holiday blue.

It is quite difficult for a Y2 kid to have too many supplements.  We are now just using MB12, ASD-plex and probiotics.  Others being equal, I can tell with some confidence that the effect is due mainly to MB12.  My son is not on CFGF.  It's rather difficult to stick strictly to such diet with his expansion of circle.  In fact, lab test two years ago show that he is okay with G and C.  And in fact he has never been a milk lover and his digestion has been good with regular and normal stool everyday since very young.  So our strategy is just "LCLG" (less ceasin and less gluten).

Actually, I have some hesitation on the product cos' it contains many ingredients in one product:  DMAE, acetyl L-carnitine, L-theanine, carnosine, American ginseng and ginkgo.   That means may be I can't out which one is working or which one is causing problem.  However, Dr. Trodd said it can improve speech and concentration.

Jasper 888 - yes there is a cream form of B-12.  You can order it through Lee Silsby compound pharmacy.  I used to use it on Dominic for a period then I dropped it - the spray is much more convenient.

Chanchanboy - the main ingredient of Learner's Edge is DMAE.  If you don't like to have so much in a capsule, ask Dr. Trodd for pure DMAE only.

All - I remember some parents mentioned that an ASD kid with a swollen eye and a sort of dark circle under the eye means he/she is suffering from something.  I do not remember what it was.  Can someone please enlighten me?

Thanks for the information.
Since my son will have another course of Diflucan as recommended by Dr. Trodd, I will start the Learner's Edge later.  

I told Dr. Trodd my son's stimming increases recently though he has Nystatin to control yeast.  Dr. Trodd said Nystatin can't work well if stimming behaviour emerged and prescribed Diflucan.  My son's last course of Diflucan was in December 2005, so I think it still be save for him.  

I stopped 2 days of Nystatin before switching to Diflucan.  Believe it or not, my son stims even more including SILLY LAUGH.  SILLY LAUGH is a clear indicator for something wrong with my son.

Today is the third day of Diflucan, silly laugh gone yesterday but still vision stimming e.g. 睇直線.
