Dear all 1D parents,

Yesterday, I found my daughter had 'Varicella'(水豆)  on her body! Thanks God that there were only few red spots on her body and with low fever (around 99-100 degrees). The school office said she need to stay at home  until she's totally recover! Hope she can get well soon and back to school on this Friday for the exam.

昨日帶了囡囡參加學校朗誦節的普通話獨誦比賽，拿冠軍的又是宣小的學生。看來，囡囡的同學們真係幾本事。

如果學校可以安排一些課外活動的課程給小朋友報名學普通話朗誦就更好。課堂上，雖然有教普通話，但沒有教獨誦技巧，單靠父母教，出賽時，同學間的表現會很參差。

Thank you for your message!  Actually KiuKiu's was not bad during these few days. She had no fever and only a little bit itch on her body. She's almost recover and the spots were dry already. So she will back to school tomorrow. Thank you for the blessing of God and you mums here!

小兒今天考完科學，想同大家分享吓。

小四科學卷有四張八大版，以圖為多，圖片題與作業出入不大(圖片題的生字要串)，佢話問答題的主要答案生字大部份可在填充或其他部份裏找到，雖然份卷多頁數，但不是太困難做，佢話佢做完卷還有時間檢查份卷有冇做錯。

我覺得溫科學時，不要花太多時間及精神串生字，最重要是他們能知道生字的意思。

希望以上資料對你們溫習科學時有幫助。

我又要閉關。

多謝妳寶貴的提示 ! 這兩天都與囡囡在吵鬧中渡過    , 激氣她平時已沒有好好溫習, 連考試期間都像條大懶蟲 ! 平時不用午睡的她, 今天卻睡了三個多小時, 晚上又準時九時半入睡     ! 睇怕要搵定學校轉

我個女好鍾意睇書，經常都好努力溫習『老夫子』和『牛仔』。   

她不喜歡沉悶的學習方法，所以有時要帶她去圖書館或食完麥當奴早餐後在麥當奴溫習半小時，她會覺得很有趣

Dear All,

It may not be a good time to ask this question during the season of examination, but could you please share your experience of doing the “每日一篇”for your kids.  (I intended to type a 80-word article to share with you here, but I gave up because it was too long for a man who do not know Chinese typing.)

I had taken this as a playing exercise for my son until one day I was told of the experience of another parent.  What he did was he would make sure that his son (or to make him) understood and read the article.  I do not mean to be disrespect to any parent who has this vision, but I think that it is simply not practicable.  I believe that 99.9% children (except some gifted talents) will forget the article and the new words the next day or a week later, the latest.  

I note from the “成績一覽” that more than 60% of P.1 kids finish “每日一篇”, and presumably answer the questions correctly, everday.  What's your secret?

我個女話中文「每日一篇」有五次補答機會，所以一定可以答對。如果真係唔識，還可以問讀其它學校的朋友，因為很多學校(例如德望)的中文「每日一篇」都係一樣的。不過，今年，我囡囡很久沒有上中文「每日一篇」了。她改了玩i-cube和養網上寵物。

時間過得很快，明天是考試的最後一天，上學期快要結束，相信大家可在聖誕節假期認真休息吓。
