Oh Sandy, I forgot to answer your question. We only went to Panyu zoo and did not go for the circus. The zoo was enough for Pui Pui. The zoo doesn't take long to visit. It'll probably take a little more than half a day.

We also didn't stay at Panyu. We went back to Guangzhou city and stayed at a hotel there. I cannot remember what hotel but only cost us RMB350. The room was nice and clean but definitely not five star.

You know the funny thing is, I thought Aki was the little girl with short hair but then when I showed Pui the photos, she said the girl with the long hair tied up is Aki.

Yeah, I'm still considering local or international. Hubby still says to go local because Pui Pui will get lots of English in Sydney when she goes there and she gets a lot from me. Problem is, I wonder if her English will be up to Australian standard when she goes there. But then again, I can teach her at home. Yeah, when our kids start K1 next year, they can come over for English lessons!! and then Pui can go over to all of your homes to learn Cantonese.

It's cute though with Pui making up stories. Sometimes she'll say, Yan Yu "play" and she'll do the action with her hands like she's holding objects. Then she'll say, "Abi cry" .... or "Jasper hit Pui Pui, naughty". Last night she said something new. She said, "Miss Tam fall down".

I saw in one of the photos, Pui Pui also sat in the wrong group. She had a group photo with Ms tam, shum and jemma... but she was also in another group's photo... I think it was the GF class. Looks like Pui Pui and the teachers got confused as to which class Pui belonged to!!!

My mother in law won't feed Pui Pui after school

I told her that the kids get very hungry and she said, "Milk is enough" coz she doesn't want Pui to get fat.

So much for generation gap!!! Pui won't get to eat again until 7pm or much later.

Hopefully when she sees other children eating, she'll at least take pity on my poor little girl. I don't think you need to deprive a child this young.

Yee, your mother-in-law is a bit different as typical grandparents.... coz they usually loves fat baby..... anyway, don't worry, just talk/explain to her (or will it be better if you ask your husband to talk to her) and ask your helper to prepare food for pui pui as afternoon snacks...... as long as grandma see pui pui enjoying the food, guess she'll be ok

Hi Joys, oh dearie me!! The teachers got our children mixed up. That explains it all!! Haha... it'll be some story to tell our kids when they are older They are so small and innocent that they are quite happy to sit wherever they are told even if there are no familiar faces around. Hee hee!!!

To Joey and Sandy, yeah, my mum in law has got very strange views sometimes. Joey, did my mother in law say okay after you talked to her? Hope so otherwise Pui won't get anything to eat from 11.15am till 8.30pm now (when she wakes up). Last night, she had two full bowls of porridge. Not really healthy for a toddler with a small tummy. Thanks for that

How's Irene doing with the primary school stuff? Hope she gets in to the school of her choice The competition is so tough here in HK. When I told my friends Pui had to be interviewed, they thought I was crazy. Hee hee.
