Last night Chris asked me to go into bedroom to sing a song to me (not daddy...haha): "拍拍手, 走走走, 拍拍手, 走走走, 走出去, 找朋友,找一個, 好朋友!" I'm pleased that he is now able to share with me about his school life.

Preston told me they had PTH lesson yesterday.  He seems like PTH.

my colleague's friend also got a kid in CYK this year. They said the kids love the school very much.

Hi all,
Now the kids have 3 types of homework already.
Sometimes Preston complained feeling tired after finishing 2 homework. So i let him do the final one in the morning....bit worry of the coming workload..

Did you know they have covered pg 20 of the textbook? Adrian's teacher asked them to put a tick on the page no. that's what they have been taught. And Adrian also showed me the page about difference of girl and boy. REally very important to teach them not to touch others / not to be touched by anyone.

just rec'd a call from Wingtung, she said she was chased by Miss Wong to perfrom the "show and tell". i told her will be done next week...but she seem so worry and found too late to do...

Chris's doing a good job. Chun Him's also willing to share the school life with us starting from K2 but not always. When he has good emotion, he will share more with us.

Yes, 3 homeworks sounds rather heavy, but I won't let him to do it in the morning 'cos most of the time I gotta correct him and require him to re-do some of those. If he does the homework next morning, I'm not able to take a look.

I found that starting from K2, teachers are more serious towards the marking of homework. Even just a little bit 出界 or not very pretty, they will circle it (the standard is much higher than me....haha), especially the Chinese characters.

Anson had sing the same song to me. She also asked me to wrap the "star book" in order to get the sticker from her teacher and she told me not to use the "triangle pencils" coz she is no longer a K1 baby.

I changed all her pencils into "Zhong Hua" brand last night and wrapped all the books immediately. Sometimes, I will think what I am doing in my life is all for her. I realized how great is my mum having 5 kids without a maid.

Me too! I checked adrian's hw and wrapped his hw books every evening these days. our kids are simply the center of our lives, no matter we're  working mom or stay-home mom. Yet, I think it's their 福氣!!! btw, i saw Anson today in the corridor. I waved to her and she stared at me. but she eventually waved me back. I'm so happy!!!

1) Adrian also complains about the heavy workload. If i sit next to him, he'll do them very slowly. he'll say '又做!', '仲有!'. so now, i stay in another room and said i'll play the balloon (from chun him's party) with him if he finishes all. He'll finish quickly and play with me (for 3 mins). i'm now 見招拆招.
2) i heard from my teacher that show and tell has begun. but our class doesn't start with class no. 1 but from class no. 15. that's why adrian's show and tell will be around christmas.
3) Also, i overheard K2J's teacher that kids need to practise writing numbers 1-10 and the chinese words on the star book at home. i guess the dictation is on the way...
4) do you enrol any PTH's course for your kids? i'm looking for one for adrian. there are a lot of pth courses in 坊間 but don't know if they're good. any idea?

I know and saw some kids were chasing Harris during the party as Harris got a balloon and hit the kids’body.
I ask Harris why did the kids chase him. He replies “We just play and it is funny.”

Actually, Harris only has a few friend of similar age. Rarely play in a group except school time. Sometimes, I am worried that he can not get along well with kids and lose control due to over-excite. Take the party as an example, he was so embarrassed and shy when he met the kids eg. hide behind his daddy, pull a funny face, screening etc.

You are all so great to share the school life of the kids. I may need to spend some time to check the posts in BK everyday so as to know more about it as Harris sometime says nothing about his school.  I think I must learn a lot from all of you.

Harris can finish the homework before I return home. I have erased the whole page and required Harris to redo it.
He was very sad. When he looked at me with tear in his eyes, I really felt regret. So, I always remind myself not to set a high standard to him.

I was home very late last night, and so glad to find out Preston finished his homework neat and tidy.  Sometimes i believe they work much better without our close supervision.  If we push harder on them..they rebel even stronger    When i watched Preston writing ...it is like writing under typhoon..  i would tell him they words were not neat enough...but will not erase them unless he wants to.  Otherwise, i will leave it to his teacher to correct them.  For some extent. i try to learn when to 放手.

usually, i also get "news" from here even Wingtung is big girl......but she doesnt like to share with me about her school life. she only tell me "siu siu" when her mood is good...haha

like last night, when she was vivi..she sing a song but is in chinese...however, when i asked, she sing nothing....

She also asked me to pickup her in school as she saw other parents are waiting outside for their kids. She envy on them and want me doing the same. I refused becoz of the hot weather but I promised her to pickup her in person during her birthday party and her birthday.

Anson finished the show & tell. The returning memo only mention she finished the job with 2 stamps on it. Anson told me someone with good performance will receive 3 stamps with clapping hands (2 times) in the class. Anson is not doing well that day coz she only got a evening to prepare. I am so surprise that the show & tell started the next day after I had handed the BB photo.

I just received a call from the class teacher that one of Anson's classmates was found inflected with swine flu and therefore Anson needs to wear mask starting from Monday. Luckily, this kid is not in the same group nor school bus with Anson.
