My son is now K2 student of SJCK.  I think every mum has received the time table of assessment.  I got a headache on how to do revision with my son for bible and bible stories, as we don't know the scope of assessment on this aspect.

Any St. Jo K3 mums here can help?

Dear all,

Hope we keep sharing and support here!It seems that K.3 parents are silent in recent days. I would like to share something that a bit upset me. My boy yesterday raised again that his name was not posted at school entrance and he was not accepted by SJPS. :cry: HE thought that he was not good enough. I tried to comfort him by explaining what has happened in existing allocation scheme. He was better but still asked what to do if he failed in 2nd round. As parent, I was on one hand torn, & felt ease on the other hand that my boy was growing up.

Hi Centre,

You are really proud of your son who has been growing up.  Don't be upset about the failure of getting seat in the first round allotment.  You still have 2 more chances....I think the principal will rather choose candidates from SJCK than the outsiders at the 3rd round, as they are familiar with the discipline of the children from their affiliated kinder.  Every school would like to get good students for sure.

Hope your son will get seat at SJPS!

Thanks for your support! By the way, my boy and I need to do our best for what we want to acheive. Facing the uncertainty of admission to SJPS subsequent to the class trimming, honestly, I am pressured. I think this is the process that most of the K.3 parents are now going through. Hope that I can share my ups and downs here till Sept.

For the exam, you mentioned 聖經故事. Are they 2 subjects, i.e. 聖經 ( the teacher should have notified you the 經文內容 in the notice) and 故事(it refers to the story of the last part of 主題書) Hope the information can help!

Thanks for your reply.

I think the boys should chant "天主經" during assessment time, but for bible stories, they do not have that 主題書, even haven't got any papers.  That really troubles me a lot.

Extremely hard time for K3 parents in Jan.

Hi all St. Joseph kindergarten Mami,

I want to apply K2 for my daughter on coming Sep.  Can you give me some comments about this kindergarten?  Is this kindergarten has english lesson by Native English teacher every day?  How about the english standard? How about the 普通話 lesson?  Once a week or every day?
