I'm also interested in the enopi course you mentioned. and we're free on Sat afternoon. but whampoa is a concern. too far for me. anyway, do you know how much does each course cost? do parents stay or leave? the tuition fee is per mth or per term? thanks!

Hi Mary, Midco and Prestonmom,

Good to know that you are interested in it too.  I'm not living in Whampoo but I thought they have parking and some places to hang around when the parents are waiting.  They do have other centres, e.g. Kowloon Tong, TKO, Shatin, Mei Foo...

For the workshop, they charge on monthly basis ($600). Those classes are in small group without the presence of parents.   

The assessment is free of charge, why don't we let our children to do the assessment first and then decide whether it is worth to join or select the centre / time.  Please let me know and I will contact the centre to arrange a time.  Your thoughts?

Midco, I'm ok with Saturday afternoon and Sunday.  At the beginning, I planned to let Chris to take the course in KLN Tong before school on weekdays but I think it's easier to get him a companion if we select the weekend workshops.

i missed my ex-maid much. Before, i always think, she is so stupid...etc always forget the things, no common sense. but after compared with the new one....一山還有一山低.......:(

Thanks Michelle but I m so sorry I forgot need to back office this saturday as our office will be moved to Quarry bay.
Wingtung daddy will bring her for the assessment.

1) did you see a loose paper regarding math in their school bag today? i think adrian's class is not the only class who do the math classwork.
2) Adrian said he saw Chris, Pakyin and Anson today while he was walking to the bathroom. Adrian said hi to Anson. But anson didn't respond but look at him only.

is it too tire for him to do the homework after school? if yes, try to schedule it in the morning, maybe better for him.  or give him an encouragement. eg. will get sticker after finish homework, got 10, will get some gifts which he like...etc

until now, Wingtung still ok to do the homework. besides KV homework, she still need to do some assigned by Grandma everyday.....

BTW, i am really so 大頭蝦. wingtung should be free around 11:30am this saturday. is it ok to do the assessment for wingtung around this time??

Midco, thanks for your advise.  Chris usually does his homework in the evening before I come home.  My maid will monitor him...not sure if she has expressed some negative comments when he refuses to do?? If he can finish his homework, my maid will give him snack as refreshment...I think I still need to check with my maid see what happen when he does his homework.

Usually Preston finishes his homework before dinner, so when i arrive home..i will check his homework.  If he did good with his homework, i will let him play Wii sports games or i will  play some toys/ games with him or i will take him to go supermarket with us etc.  And he knew that if he did not finish homework(his own duty),  he has no where to go.

When he was in K1, he once refused to do his homework.  I said ok..no problem..then i pretended throwing the homework into the bin and asked him to tell Ms So that he would not do any homework.  He begged me to find the homework for him and finished it very fast.  i told him it was his own responsiblity  to complete his own duty/homework, not mine.

I totally agreed with Cherry. Doing homework is their responsibilities. Unlike the time when Chun Him was in K1, I'll try to encourage him to do and try many positive ways. But starting from K2, most of the time he can finish his homework before I go home. But even he's finished his homework, his writing was terrible and I gotta sit down and request him to redo some of them. I seriously told him that every day we got lots of things to do. Sometimes we play, sometimes we read, sometimes we do our work. For each of these tasks, we have to seriously achieve it, no matter it's a play time or homework time and no matter you want to do it or not. I've told him that even sometimes he dislikes to do homework, I'll tell him that you must seriously finish it, even you don't like it 'cos it's your responsibility; otherwise you cannot do any other things that you like.
