hello 030316,
i do think the french teach ms Fung has mentioned some french learning web sites during the briefing session... my wife has noted it down, i have to check with her.
my wife does have some french site for kids... however, they are mostly in french... i can still pass you a list later if you are interested.

你熟唔熟Paris? 我下個星期同仔仔去Paris, 請問La Defense or Opera 好住d? 我地主要觀光, La Defense會否好不方便? La Defense好多新酒店, 你有冇好介紹呢?
Opera好多boutique hotel, 但感覺不太安全, 仲未決定住邊間

Opera is in the center of paris!! it's much better for visiting. you can just walk around or take the buses and it's quit save actually, as in the summer the day light stay until 9pm. a lot of people in the street even late.
la defence however, is a commercial and business area, so there is less interesting and a bit quiet at off office hour.... and therefore need extra attention in the subway at night time when you back to hotel.
but as you mentioned, in the central of paris... the hotel may usually smaller and more expensive.... and may not as comfortable as the new hotels...

lucky you the euro is really low compare the years before!!! you should find a way to stay longer where you shop...

so i still think the Opera area is a better idea!!

今日同阿仔參加咗兩場k3普通話朗誦比賽,分別獲得優異獎及亞軍
