Hi Kawai,

I heard from Dr. Ko that there is a boy who had a very large abdomen which became much improved after using the ozone treatment,his teacher also said that he had better attention (e.g. he raised his hand and said he want to go to toilet). This boy didn't respond well to diflucan she gave so she tried the ozone( I didn't remember how many courses he has been given but definitely more than 20) but I am not sure whether he is autistic or not.

My son's poo poo seems to improve after the ozone treatment, it is less hard and more soft and more easily to pass out. But at the same time I gave him more fresh juice and fibre treatment,so I'm not sure how much contribution from the ozone. Anyway my son has the stool sent for the yeast culture this Monday and I'm waiting for the result. BTW, the course of treatment finished today(20 times).

oat urine test, 全名好似叫organic acid test, 係我嗰仔睇緊嗰個cranio therapist介紹的, 佢話佢本身都係dan doctor, 不過佢唔係medical doctor. 我嗰仔睇開dr trodd, 我上次去見佢時, 提起問吓佢有關呢個oat, 佢話都可以做, 大約hk$二仟, 自已係屋企留小便就得, 攞番去dr trodd度, 佢寄過去美國做test, 大約2星期有report.
不過如果你想做, 不妨先問一問你位醫生會用邊間lab 做test, 因為嗰個cranio therapist 俾我睇過佢其他client的oat report, 好詳細咁分析究竟有yeast定係有bacteria, 估講埋對anti-fungal(例如diflucan)有冇抗藥性,
我都有d後悔冇問清楚用邊間lab test, 同份報告有冇d咁詳細的資料.... :

Is it difficult to get your son to receive the ozone treatment?  How long does each treatment last for? I doubt that it is painful or uncomfortable.

Hi HayBMum,

My son,he is very stubborn to have any medical intervention,so no exception to the ozone treatment. Today he still cried  although it was the last round. I think it should be uncomfortable because you need to put in-situ a rubber tubing inside the anus for about 40-60 seconds in order to pump the ozone gas slowly into the bowel and then the child has to lie down on one side for at least 15 mins.

My son did badly since mid of last week.  May be due to the sickness or yeast problem.  No one knows.  He threw tantrums very often even though it was just a minor thing.  I originally scheduled last Saturday to see Dr Ko but I couldn't make it as my son was sick on that day.  Need to wait for another chance.

What's wrong with your son?  Have you tried the OLE again for yeast control?  My maid told me your son behaves well during the one on one therapy at AP.  Even though she couldn't stay inside during the group's playtime, she said your son has very good discipline under her observation.

I just begin the reading, so it only mentioned fermented food 發酵 e.g. cheese, vinegar, malt ... should be avoided so far.  

The fermented food may make sensitive people have same drunken effect like people drinking beer.  That's why our children may sometimes have headache, throw tantrum, silly laugh, like drunken.

I'll try to make a summary and see whether I can distribute to parents during our gathering.  

After my reading, I lent the book to you if you are interested.

Thanks for your information on ozone treatment.  I don't think my son could bear to have something injected into his pat pat and has to lie down for 15 minutes!

After finishing two rounds of diflucan, I asked for another round (1 week only) from Dr. Lam, but he said no need.  I wondered if he has some conservation on using too much diflucan

我個仔的oat urine report 係一間叫"metametrix clinical laboratory"做的, 雖然我當日只係"立"吓人哋果份report的"format" (即有d mud嘢資料可以分析到), 不過有印象人哋果份有寫到關於對nystatin, diflucan等反應, 而我果份就冇. 我果份report有關yeast/fungal, bacterial origin, 就列明好多隻唔同名的yeast/bacterial等等, 不過我都唔識d 名稱.

Dear all,

Talking about mHBOT (Mild Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment), we have rented a portable (inflatable) unit from Dr. Trodd since early this month.  It looks just like what is in ABBMom's link.

Dominic has been through 44 dives.  He is definitely more energetic, or should I say "hyperactive".  He has never been the hyperactive type of ASD kids, but in the past two weeks or so, he can run as if he is driven by a motor.  Other than that, I honestly do not see much dramatic gains from the mBOT treatments.  According to the Yahoo mailing list that I joined, the general opinion is the hard chamber, with 1.5 ATA pressure and 100% oxygen, is much more effective, not the mild unit (1.27 ATA with an oxygen concentrator) that we use.

I am the third family renting it from Dr. Trodd.  The first family claimed the benefits were very obvious and were amazed (so I heard).  The second family has the same experience as we have - not a lot of obvious differences.

If any of you are interested, please put your name down with Dr. Trodd.  He has a waiting list.  You can keep it for 3-4 weeks at a certain cost.

Does anyone know what is Cranial Scarial Therapy? Is it the massage of the head? Is it good for our kid? Actually I don't think my kid will cooperate with the therapist, but I really want to try it myself. I can't sleep well lately and want to do some kind of massage. Can anyone tell me how much is it and where can I find a good therapist?

Dear ABBMum and Dommom,

Thanks for your information on mHBOT.  I was wondering if this is suitable for my kid since he is a kind of hyperactive.  I'll consult Dr. Trodd on our next visit.  

Foot massage helps to relief stress and insomnia.  You may also use Melatonin which is available at Mannings.  Onion red wine really works for the same purpose.  Give me a call if you want more details for the above methods.  I fully understand the pressure to be a mom of special child.

我個仔而家做緊cranial therapy, 做咗三次, 係用手在頭上按, 如果頭骨位不正確(例好我個仔, 個therapist話佢頭骨有好幾塊都位置不正, 所以影響到語言能力, 及其他問題) 會影響血液循環及神經線, 治療希望透過矯正頭骨, 可以改善情況.
不過我都唔係好認識, 如果有講錯, 請諒.
