Chun Him didn't write any paper with letter 'A' last week. But yesterday he said he need to write 1,2,3,10 & chinese 10 on a paper. Also, need to write the 'A' on the worksheet without a 'X'. I don't really know which info he's correctly told me. Just do according to his instruction.

When i went home last night, i saw a front page of "A" completed, but   Preston insist only the front page of "A" is needed.

For the A-Z letters, i have put transparent films to protect it instead of laminate it, maybe there is y there is no sticker on the sheet la...  Preston did not mention any stickers, but he has got a big sticker at 1st week.

Chris has never told me he needs to write either the numbers or alphabet on a paper!  We only laminated the paper he brought from school as there was a very small piece of paper saying "請過膠" attached to that paper.

Last night, he finally got his official homework - letter A

Do you send your boys/girls to learn putonghua 'cos I learned many schools need to use Putonghua to conduct admission interview in addition of Cantonese and English...but Chun Him knows nothing about Putonghua....

Wingtung just started to learn putonghua for 3 months. she shared the teacher with her friend at her friend's home. first 30 mins is 水墨畫 and the last 30 mins is focus on putonghua. But i dont think she know how to speak in Mandarin.

I think most of the learning centres only open from Mon to Sat.  Chris is attending Phonics at Star Learning Centre in Hung Hom.  He quite enjoys the class and really learn something from the course.

as Wingtung's schedule is full, cant arrange on Saturday again, maybe after finish this Terms in ESF....then, can see any course is suitable for her...

I heard Jolly Faith's phonics class at Beacon Heights. I don't know if they've class on Sunday. I just know they can give your kid a free evaluation.

Do you want to enrol chun him to PTH's class or hire a private tutor? Many fds of mine hire private teacher. Not too expensive. $150 up per hour.

i know we need to laminate but i don't know we need to put it in the folder until i asked the teacher yesterday. she said 'Yes. because we might revise the A-Z paper from time to time. therefore, you would like the paper to be laminated and stored in the folder.'

I didn't laminate the paper too. I put it in a hard card case. But adrian got a sticker from the teacher as well.

Adrian finished page 1 of 'A' last nite and finished page 2 of 'A' tonite.
I also saw 2 papers with stickers. Adrian said they're classworks. One is drawings of 'A-D' and another one is drawings of chinese words like '山','耳','男'.

I guess there is no restriction on whether you are K2 or K3 parents as they won't verify you.

I have attended some of the seminars before and no one would care who you are

Also, I guess it may be too late to attend all the seminars at a time when we become K3 parents. It'd better to start it now.

Yes, we did the evaluation at Jolly Faith already. But they dont have any class which suitable for Wingtung on Saturday. all classes are held in weekday...so, too far for me ...

also, they dont have any class on Sunday.....
