In my opinion, it may not be wise to wear school uniform.  Who knows if the kindergarten is the preferred one of the primary school? In particular, it is not the headmaster to interview the kids. Rather, the kids will be interviewed by multiple teachers who may have opinion of his/her own. Some teachers may have special preference/opinion over some kinders. It is not necessary that a teacher has good impression over a so-called famous kinder.

In fact, the kindergarten info is already stated in the application form. Why take such risk/bother of falling into such traps?

According to the briefing session that I attended, this year would be:

1st in = teachers "in" kids one by one, no group "in".
2nd in = a panel "in" the kid and his parents (together) first then parents have to leave the room and they will only "in" the kid.

I went to the 2nd briefing session.  As far as I can remember,  they didn't say much on the format of the interviews.  They said that they had not yet set the interview questions that time.

According to the notes that I jotted down, we shall bring our kid to the campus and hand over to the staff.  Then we can wait at the playground or have a coffee break at 新世紀廣場 and to pick up our kid at destinated time, i.e. after about 1 hour.  

The first interview will be on 1 to 1 basis.  In the second interview, the kid, together with the parents, will be interviewed by a panel of 3 interviewers.

Did any one attend the briefing session?  Did they mention any details in the 1st session?

As far as I remember the information mentioned during the briefing session, they will "play games" and talk to the candidates.  However, you have to figure what do they mean "games".  From my point of view, can be spelling game, can be matching, story telling, whatever.

我都係咁諗, 太formal 好以太老積咁, 吾得sport, 我都係會比短袖shirt or polo shirt + 好以扯褲果d , 一定吾會著西褲, 而皮鞋我吾會比佢著....我今日都有出去睇過衫, 因為想買過褲比亞仔, 但好多已經換晒季, 吾係黑就深灰, 一係好深色 or 格仔(好以校服褲咁), 好以死氣沉沉咁, 又吾襯短袖衫, 所以最後都係買吾到...

I think I will let my son wear black leather shoes.  He is very mobile and sporty no matter what kind of clothes he puts on.  Putting on 'a bit' formal wear makes him behave 'a bit' less 'hyper'. :-|

I will go for DBS.  I like Kowloon Tong but it's not the ultimate school.  I would like to try DBS even though it's 1 in a million chance.

我先排見到 PXlo，ZXra，BXneton etc etc 都有好以扯褲果d ，價錢係 around ＄300-500。係新貨（秋裝），都吾算厚。你有無見過？

我仲記得 BXneton 有條係卡奇色都幾好。我舊年買左好多，今年無買到，你去  look look 啦。

平點既，去 check check GXordano kids 啦。呢兩年有時都有幾好的扯布褲。我覺得他們的質地近年好似好左，但價錢都貴左 lu。。。

The school said in the briefing session that they are indifferent.  It is your choice as to the interview language.  The school reminded the parents that the kids perform better if they are interviewed in their mother toungue.
