They group kids of similar grade into same teams and then assign suitable games to them. e.g. for elder ones who have soccer experience, they would have small matches, while for P1 kids, they would have games like shooting/chasing the balls. In terms of teacher to students ratio, approximately 1:8-10.
But I think you might need to remind your boys/girls to refill the water themselves. Some more considerate coaches would bring them to the water fountain next to the changing room (which is right behind the pitch where they have the class) to refill the water, while some don't. Therefore I see some kids running out of water look really dehydrated. Alternatively, you could prepare your kids with one extra bottle of water for the soccer class. My boy was completely wet, so he took off his PE Polo shirt during the class and only wore the vest underwear throughout the lesson. I think it's a good idea to bring along an extra t-shirt, provided that they are organised enough, otherwise, they would easily mix up the stuff with other kids... |
