I know such facts too, my daughter's swimming coach is also coaching other kids from LS too. Actually I think students transfer between these two schools can only occur in the primary section, once they go to the secondary section, they will be loyal to their schools for life.

By using the word "poach", you treat the athletes as animals.  I am afraid that you will be insulted without mercy by rightful people !

LMAO. It's your rights to deceive yourself as well as others. However, I don't think you have the rights to shift the focus and falsely perceive the others about my words. I am criticizing the poa... oops, invitation policy of DBS, and I DID NOT intend to insult anybody in DBS or in this forum. (In fact, I do admire the students in DBS who are loyal and passionate towards their school.) If you wanna find an excuse to "insult me without mercy", please go ahead.

我識一個運動健將舊年想報LS,但係成績差唔收,結果入左英X, 但經LS教練奔走,最後係開學後不久再跳槽過LS!

聽講佢依家日練夜練, 但學業成績完全不達標! ...

我想講講現在社會現象都係擇才而入, 就好似政府高官都不再是公務員升上, 而係從外面 (私人公司)的人聘用. 所以學校是否因為那有某方面才能而選入該校, 還是學校自己一手一腳訓練出來, 這問題對我來說唔係太重要 (可能對某些人認為重要). 我覺得一個人才, 佢之所以(跳糟), 相信都係對新的學校有期望, 覺得好. 咁越多叻人轉入這學校, 也表示的確有佢的吸引力. 就好似如玩運動的, 也想被選入港隊, 但最初都唔係港隊訓練那個人, 而係那人被訓練有點成績先入的. 如游水, 係游泳港隊不代表一定比不是港隊的游得快, 但能入到令人有信心有一定的水準, 也有較多的表現自己的機會. 學校如是. 入名校不代表比不出名學校成績好, 但入到的確令人覺得佢有一定的水平.

或許說在運動場上賽跑, 阿甲自己一個人跑, 同比自己水準差好多的跑, 同比自己水準好的跑, 同比自己水準差不多的跑. 雖然理論上阿甲理應出來的時間一樣, 因為跑個個人都係阿甲, 但實際上人唔係機器, 同唔同人跑, 或是自己一個人跑, 往往跑的時間唔同. 因為人總人心理因素. 之於點樣情況先跑得最快, 係每個人都不同的.
