講真,我都好想過這些生活,但我諗我又唔係可以全職揍仔的人,因為我只喜歡同佢地去玩,要我做家務,我諗我真係唔係好得

So sorry for my silence.

Last Friday, I was supposed to join your tea... but I found a new helper so I had to go to Yuen Long instead to sign the contract.

We have decided to give one month's notice to our indonesian helper and we will only use her for housework. This is so that she can have more time to look for another employer. She's very willing to listen to instructions, just not suitable for children under 3.

Sandythepooh, yes, the safari park/zoo I went to in Guangzhou is called Panyu and it is sooooooo lovely. It is one of the BEST places to take the kids. We drove inside and the deer came right up to our car and put its head in.

Pui Pui was so delighted with all the animals that she stuck almost half her body out of the car. She got so excited when she saw the tigers (loved the white tigers), the lions, the giraffes, the zebras and elephants. Then there was another section where we had to get off the car to walk. She loved all the birds and flamingos there.... they kept squeaking....

Food there was disgusting though so make sure you eat at restaurants before you go in.

The food in Guangzhou is excellent. I think China generally has better food than HK.

So everyone, if you need a holiday destination, do go to Panyu, Guangzhou. I'm going to take her there again next month.....

They even have a street that sells all Christmas stuff at factory prices. I heard they will do the same for Chinese New year so I'm going back again real soon.

ChunYuMommy, yes, Pui Pui always has that runny nose whenever she's at school. Whenever she's not at school, it lessens. I really hope that they'll be able to build up resistance when they start K1.

I had a trial day with my new helper yesterday so Pui Pui didn't go to school. The new helper we tried was excellent. She's really nice and kind. She'll start mid January. Wish me luck. I hope it works out this time.... I've learnt my lesson. It is good to interview and try out new helper for a day. Many interview as many as 40 before choosing.

How long was your trip and where did you stay?  Did u watch the animal show?  We'll stay in ChimLoong hotel (the white tiger hotel) for 1 nite only and are now thinking about the schedule......It seems that we should plan a longer stay in the zoo... did u go to other attractions?  I learnt from my friend that there's a "theme park" nearby.....

about your maid: be careful if you're giving one month notice instead of immediate termination to your old maid..... I've heard some bad stories before and, make sure you store the valuable things properly and don't let the helper staying with Pui pui alone

今日原先諗住一家人睇燈飾,諗住今日天氣唔錯,先去中環,然後去尖沙咀,點之焮爸剛剛記得要去大酒店,今日行程告吹
