坐校巴始終有保障, 有事都可以同學校反映.  不過如果校巴係屋企無站, 就真係無辦法, 一定要搵褓姆車.  唯有平時都要教個小朋友係車度要守規矩, 過馬路一定要有大人及要睇車, 又要唔好跟陌生人走...總之做父母都係好多野要留意.  今日仔仔本手冊夾左張關於坐校車的安全既單張返來, 大家可以同d小朋友一齊睇下.

my son take the school bus to school ( the big one) and last week i follow him to the school and found that there have 4 - 5 teachers helping the children to get off fr the bus so i think it should be alright.

I know nothing and let me ask Tiffany later. As I know, she's quite scare of playing the slide by herself but I didn't found her get hurt somewhere.
Might be her or maybe another Tiffany in the same class.唔知有無損傷呢?

Dear moms,

I bet most of you have watched the government's commercial telling us to stop the engine if your car is not in use.  Kentville school bus never stops its engine and lets children go in & out from the rear door.  You don't know how much exhausted fume your child would inhale everyday.  You may think I'm 多事, but I just want to say there's also a hidden danger for using the school bus.  Please justify your choice.

My son was also born in December so he can be small or big boy and he studies K1 in Kentville. I insist to let him be a big boy although he is able to attend K2 class except a little bit slower EQ and fine motor skill development.
Many friends around me tell me it would be at advantage for big boy rather small one as it is too hard to catch up the difficult standard in local primary school. Otherwise, there would be a painful struggle during learning (especially for working mami like me)  and most likely he would lose confidence easily.
I don't know whether small child will be accepted but some of my friends' son  are rejected as they did'nt say anything during interview.

咁你係比你小朋友讀2年k1定遲一年先比佢讀書呢?  我因為唔想囝囝係屋企唔知做咩又學唔到野, 所以想早d比佢返學.
現在又有好多學校都唔收細仔, 都唔知點好??

Absolutely agree!  It is a fact that all moms should draw attention to.  It's not hard to imagine how much a big school bus can pump the exhausted fume into the air   and when the child walks by, how harm it would be!  HuiTung, I've fully awared of it well before, I've also reminded my girl trying to uphold breathing while passing through them!

My son had studied K1 in Hongkong Preschool because the syllabus of N1 is too easy for a 2 yrs and 8 months child.
We, like you, thought that it is quite time wasting for him to stay at home (most time with the maid) all day long.
I think you may try to take him to playgroups to  train his independence, confidence, politeness and develop outgoing  characters etc, which should be appreciated by most teachers.
I've the heard that a small girl was asked to leave as her  math performance was lag behind in this kindergarten and some cases in which small boys cannot catch up with in primary school or even secondary school. So I believe he'd better be a big boy for competent studies further and different paces of developement in boys and girls (girls are sure at advantage under current local education system).
Hope to relieve your burden.

My son is a small boy too,  I'm thinking to let him repeat K3 for him to gain  experience on interviewing  primary school.
But, I agree with  you that the personality development like confidence  and independeance are  important to kids. So, I had  thought of let him repeat K1 before.  
But now it   depends on the performance of Jamie in this year.
