i also not sure which sport that Preston really interested in...but since he admires those kids playing ice hocky..so i would let him try in Oct.

He also likes tennis...so i let him try out tennis first....

Preston has very similar schedule as Hing Lok & Anson...
he goes to bed around 10 to 10.30 pm...and wakes up at 8.30 to 9 am..And no nap time at the afternoon, but he always sleep on the school bus.

He used to watch tv in the morning during the summer holiday..now i want him to stop on the tv time.

Adrian had tried soccer, gym and golf. so far, he hasn't shown me what he likes most. I met a lot of parents and they told me that i need to give him a lot of exposure coz he might not develop his interest till he's 10 years old!!! i've enrolled him to a tennis course (which lasts for 3 mths). i hope he'd tell me (at least) if he likes racket sports or not.

what time does Preston play tennis? Adrian's class is 9am to 10am. To us, it's really very EARLY!!!
apart from the tennis court, i think you might need to prepare mosquito repeller for Preston at Kv. as far as i've seen, lots of kids got mosquito bites. while we're lining up outside the campus, a lot of kids put on the repeller by their moms. i think the situation is much worse than kent rd.
Same as my case! Adrian has NO tv time at all. but he is used to play toy cars everyday. now, since school commenced, i have to put away his cars mon to fri coz he has been very 心散 (not willing to practise piano or work on his exercises.)

adrian's math teacher has asked them to hand in 'homework' -writing '1 - 10' on a piece of paper. she didn't mention it in the handbook. i guess she wants to test the students' listening skills. how about your class? so far, any hidden assignment?
i asked the classteacher about dictation on friday. she said 'everything is step by step'. she said the first 2 weeks are 'honeymoon'. kids are only doing revision of K1 stuff. Like english, she's going to revise them the capital letter for 4 times before teaching the small letters. Then, she'll teach 'spelling' and teach those words like apple / airplane. After that, there will be dictation...God bless our kids!

Thanks for your info. I've checked with Chun Him and he said no homework to do. Just to take the alphabet sheet to 過膠 only. Don't know if he would miss the homework or not.

Hey, where did Adrian play soccer? Is it a training course or not? I found that most of the ball games are not suitable for Chun Him as his motor development is still not very good. He simply cannot control with any type of rackets like tennis, badminton or even table tennis. I guess soccer may be the only ball game he will manage easily.

Hi all mami....

recently, i also found Wingtung has "kissed" by mosquitoes (many) but just not sure it was kissed at home or KV....haha

i have no maid started from yesterday, need to wash, iron....etc so busy.....:(

There has a small paper inside Wingtung's school bag and it was already finished one side with no. "21"...i asked Wingtung need to do another side or not. She said no need but dont know need to bring back or not...

Also, she has a sticker put on her folder (the big one). she said is given by Miss Wong....????

Preston plays tennis at 8.30 -9.30 Sat morning....but since the coach has very busy schedule on Sat & Sunday despite his own competitions, we would try having the class on weekdays evening 8-9 pm until we grouped a fixed number of kids in the class, then we would set another time.

Athlete? No la. He just loves to run around. but he is reluctant to run during training. Up till now, he couldn't tell me what he likes most. Tennis is one of the sports i want him to play / try.

Adrian joined a 5-day soccer camp in vancouver. but he hated it on the 3rd day (coz he needed to run under the sun for 3 hours per day). He also complained that the ball was too hard. Before, he was used to kick the toy ball with daddy. but the camp was using size 3 ball (for age 8 and under). therefore, he didn't enjoy the camp at all.
It seems there're not many soccer schools for kids under 6 in HK. I'm also looking for soccer class for adrian. If i found one, i'll keep you posted.

my husband said so. I remember adrian cried in the middle of the nite coz his calves were painful. Too much exercise and training for him (who's used to be a lazy guy!). He cried in the mornings and were reluctant to go at all. That's why even now, he said he didn't enjoy the soccer camp. haha...

did you guys laminate the 'a-z' picture sheet? i heard if the kids show the laminated sheet to the teacher, a sticker will be rewarded. adrian didn't say anything. i had been keeping it at home till today!!!

oh!! last week when i went to office in the morning. Wingtung suddenly said she need a paper to write letter "A"....i told her can not so late to let me know next time as i hv to check what did she write. So, i just left the paper to her only....
and then i rec'd back the letter with a stamp and found there has a sticker in her big file. i asked her why? she just said got from Miss Wong, but she didnt tell me the "relationships" between the letter "A-Z" and the stickers....haha

Now, i got it...haha
