Cyrus ma,

Does Cyrus like any characters, such as Thomas the Tank, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey, etc.? If so, you can buy or borrow the books concerned for him to read.  My friend's son likes Thomas very much and he can read Thomas simple English books very well at 4 years old.  

If there is no special characters he likes , you'd better bring Cyrus to library to let him choose.  Choose the books with interesting pictures but simple words!  Hope my suggestion helps.

Good suggestion. Thank you. Cyrus like Thomas. However, the Thomas books are rather Expensive. I still will try one first. It's happy that we read 3 English books together last night.   He chose them from the series (小tree苗出版的)that I mentioned yesterday. I am so happy that he suddenly willing to read the readers. But he refuse to read the readers from school again.
