各位st. jo家長,

您們好呀! 我囝囝昨日係st. jo面試明年K2. Interview之場面實在好利害, 家長們都穿上西裝及套裙, 而我和爸爸只穿了便服! 有以下問題想請教各家長, tks!

1) 家長服裝會否影響/增加小朋友面試分數?  
2) 知否今年幾多小朋友報名?
3) 不知今天(15/3)或明天(16/3)是否會繼續有interview呢? 因單日之interview人數已有數百人.
4) 如我們都不是catholic, 爸爸不是old boy, 機會是否好低呢?
5) 放榜日期為5月7日, 大約咩時間可以看到result?

十分緊張, 故可能太多問題. 待覆! Many thanks!

Don't worry. Both I and my husband wore casual wear on my son's interview day 2 years ago.

We are not catholic and old boy but my son can still enter.   It all depends on what your boy's performance.

Last time, we can see the result in a big poster hanged in front of the entrance but don't know this time.  You'd better see school's announcement.

Others couldn't answer.

we are also neither catholic nor old boy too.

don't worry, take it easy, even you fail, it doesn't matter at all, don't make any pressure to your son and your family.

I remember that we can find the acceptance list on the date they announce only.  so just wait and no need to call to school, they will just ask you wait until the announcement date.

I'm quite surprise that there are total six birthday cakes today, of course include my son  
my son is so happy today.

Yes, I was so shock too when I picked up my boy from the school bus. He had a full hand of presents...
He was so happy about that.     
Did you deliver the cake to school yourself? Or else how do you know there were six BD cakes?

You remind me, last year we received photos of birthday party at school but this year not yet received any photos (my son's birthday in February)    

Any parents rec'd photos this year?

May be it will take another while, I have received my son's BD photo. So i am sure they will give to u just the matter of time.

Hello all,

Long time no chat la!

We finally travelled to Japan during Easter holiday, even more expensive than CNY, but we were very happy. Visited both Disneyland and Disneysea.
At the last day, my son said he wanted to stay longer...

      both Disneyland and Disneysea, that's great!!  My son had not yet been to Disneysea (I myself went there once but found it's not as interesting as Disneyland).  

We spent the 5 Easter holidays in Malaysia and Singapore.  The tour was great and my boy enjoyed the trip very much especially playing + fighting with those kids in the group.

We're now planning a trip to Australia in summer vacation.  Hope could go to more interesting places before admission to primary lah

Australia, I'm also interested, but do u know what activities that suitable for kids?

Summer holiday should be Australia's winter time so I think activities like skiing, watching penguin, watching interesting animals eg. kola, kangaroo, etc., try the farm life, etc., are suitable for kids.  We have relatives living in Sydney so I think we will rely on them for arranging the activities.  If time permits, hope can also visit New Zealand as well (hearsay self-driving in NZ is very safe and interesting).

It is so great to travel Australia. It also make me great interesting after looking at your mention. But I plan to Malaysia in the summer.

  My son likes much about the sea. I think he must also want to go to Japan. But I don't tell him about this.
   I just go to China for a short trip in the easter holiday but my daughter is angle me after we come back. So I also worry about the summer trip.......

We went to Malaysia+Singapore during the Easter Holiday.  We joined tour and had a great trip.  My boy enjoyed Malaysia's Sunway Lagoon (a theme park near KL) very much.  We also visited a butterfly park.  A lot of snakes and crocodiles inside.  Quite attractive to boys esp. naughty ones lah            And Senosa in Singapore was also nice.  The very very big indoor games park at the hotel we stayed on Genting (雲頂) was also good but unfornately we had only 1 night there so limited time for playing.
All in all, I think Malaysia and Singapore are suitable for kids.  The experience was much better than I imagined before departure.

It is around $450-$550. You can check with the school bus company during the registration. BTW, is the result for the forthcoming K2 has been release?
