已收到了, 勞煩晒!  昨天派回的中文聆聽(一), 滿江紅, 驚嚇程度十分, 希望下次會好D啦, 阿囝話老師講得好快, 佢聽唔切, 人地叫答案填A, B, C, 佢就掛住成個答案寫, 咁緊係唔夠時間啦! 我就黎激死!

請問妳覺得英文科的功課深嗎？妳小朋友做功課大部份自己懂得做，還是要每條都要講解後才懂做呢？

唉！我幾乎要條條講解，連答案就黎要讀晒出來他才懂做，我真係唔知點算好了。

I had tried to do the revision for the coming Eng dictation, as their teacher would give them the pre-dic on Monday, however, as you may imagine, he could not focus at all, I feel quite sorry about this. I don't want to blame him too much and give him extra pressure (even I am not sure he feels he has the pressure or not), as I guess he still needs some more time to adapt his primary school life.  I don't wanna to give him a bad impression of primary school life.

His English in this stage is OK (I guess), his reading is better than spelling, so dictation is headache.  His maths is not too good, maybe I didn't send him to attend Kumon class.  I guess the subject of Chinese Listening could "Kill" him as his Putonghua is not good, and I also cannot help him.  I had tried to enrol the ECA from school for him, however, maybe too many students apply and so he could not be able to get a seat.  Regarding to the homework, everyday he back home, he just kept shouting "Mami, mami", and I almost need to sit next to him when he is doing homework.

So, how's your son in Maths & Chi?  Can he catch up too?  I think we should always remind ourselves to "relax" and "relax", or else the one need to quit are "US" instead of "THEM".

你會否還好些, 因你都重有個大嘅經驗, 可能都有些心得, 知道之後大約老師會有那些要求... 你知嗎? 我琴晚發了個惡夢, 夢中我漏了同阿囝溫測驗呀... 因我睇錯日子呀.... 好驚呀...咁快就Halloween啦!

星期五老師又派了張"自理能力"通告, 講真, 阿囝冇樣可以, 星期一至五, 佢可以唔懶床, 我已經會感欣啦, 重邊會想過佢重可以有時間去make his bed, 自動自覺做功課?!....日日放學回家, 第一件事就話今日都未玩過, 聽落又好似好陰功咁, 但一比佢玩, 佢又唔願停, 又話乜咁快架.... 我都唔知點.... 佢又要早訓, 遲些考試測驗真係唔敢想像....

Hello 1429 and all,

I believe Carson and Max will become good friends one day.  Cos while Max lost the English worksheet, Carson lost the 中文聆聽(一).  But I guess his results are better than Max's.  PTH used to be his weak item,  I stopped spending money on PTH course during K3 since I found he could tell or communicate nothing with me, except the few sentences I coached him for P1 interviews.

Worse still, he is reluctant to read books, Chinese or English.  Like just now, I need to threaten him to start reading books.  And we as parents need to borrow books of different discipline to cope with the requirements of the Reading Scheme.

By the way, do you order the newspaper (this time), and the previous science magazine....?  Are they useful?  And do we (parents, not the kids) have time to cope with them?

Besides, my wife likes to buy the winter trousers outside since she doesn't confident with the quality of the school supplier, and expensive too.  Does anyone know whether the boy's trousers have 'one 摺, can't see it clear from the school web site.

Maybe senior parents can help?  Thanks.

I didn't order the science's books last time, but I will order the Ming Pao Daily this time, even he doesn't have time to finish it, I still can read it... heehee... and I know that those columns which suggested by the school are also very good and they are all very suitable and valuable for both parents and students.

Regarding the school uniform, am agreed that the quality is not too good, like the zipper of the summer shorts for boy.  His zipper came out and could not work probably on the first school day he wore, luckily he got a spare or else I didn't know how to do it at that moment. After that i need to find someone to change the zippers and the cost could cover one more shorts.  As there has no other official uniform company we could pick, and I think it is so trouble to match the same the "Green", so, I gave up and order from them.

I'll (in fact my wife's decision)   buy the winter trousers outside.  About newspaper, I'll order HKET, both Chi and Eng cos 2 issues is better than 3.  Afraid I have no time to read with him, for sure he can't and WON'T read by himself.  But last time, I listened to my son and ordered the science magazine cos he said he like the science subject.  Hope I'll not be fooled again this time.
