Tks for your reminder.  I nearly forgot the parents' day tomorrow    

No plan to ask any particular questions ah.  Last year's experience is the teacher would tell me a lot about my boy's performance at school so no need to ask any more.

Tomorrow is also the parents' day for my son in P1.  It will be the first time he needs to go with us to attend this kind of event.

He is also required to wear proper school uniform tomorrow.  It's quite serious.

The class teacher will present the school report of the mid term exam to us and tell us our son's behavour in school in front of us and "him".

I got a very very good experience of meeting the class teacher today. She is a nice and attentive teacher. My son is generally ok at school except his poor handwritting and music. Also, I need to pay more attention on his conduct,e.g. politeness, obedience, tidiness.

My son's result in 'handwriting' is also the poorest among all subjects, "B" only.  And teacher complained that he was 冇心機 in the last two weeks before this vacation in doing handwriting.

Yes I also have a good impression of such type of meeting.  Very formal, traditional style but you'll notice that teachers are really very experienced in identifying the characteristics of all children.  They will not praise the children only but pointed out their weaknesses as well --> very important.  And you'll find that teachers really have 'heart' in teaching, not just please parents.

Not many kinders nowadays do this.  We're lucky.  And your year is even much better cos smaller size class enable teachers to know each child very well.

We cancelled our trip to Japan because my son went into hospital just the day before we go. (high fever).
He was ok two days later, but we prefered not take the risk.

ha?? What a pity!!     Can the payment be refundable?  I know that the prices for tours to Japan during CNY holidays are super expensive.  If no refund, very 'ng dei' ah.

We will join tour to Malaysia+Singapore during Easter public holidays (total 5 days).  My hubby and I have been to Malay + Singapore more than 10 years ago and I found that places to go in the present tour are totally different from that time.  The places include some new theme parks, seems to be more attractive        Hope my boy will enjoy the tour lah.

Hope we all have a very smooth and good Year of the Pig (esp. the primary school issue.  Hope all our kids will be admitted without any  阻滯 lah   )

We've bought the travel insurance, most likely we can claim the tour fee back.

I'm considering to arrange a trip in Easter instead.

ooooooops    We (incl. my son) totally forgot the event yesterday !! Wasted the game tickets tim.  Last year we joined it and won some prizes at lucky draw booth.

Hope next year we can join the event as primary school student and parents lah
