Hi,

Just want to ask if you are preparing to send your child to an international primary school? If I plan to send my kid to a local primary, would it be hard for the kid to catch up with the Chinese in primary?

As a mother, I also think that the school is exellent.  The teachers are caring and the kids are from good background.  This Think is different from others Thinks in being to able to provide a richer English environment.  My daughter is taking the full-day program.  From 8:30 to 3:15 she is speaking in English except the 1-hour PTH lesson and luch hour.

Seems that parents of Think in bilingual class mostly target at local DSS or private schools more than international schools.

When considering primary schools, I would think that having through train secondary school or the secondary school allocation is one important factor as it is very difficult to get into a good secondary school, which determines the future studies.

I'm interested in this school. I could not find these information from the school website. Could anyone please tell me the school fees for

1) half day(bilingual)
2) half day(international)
3) whole day school(half day bilingual + half day international)

The school fee varies slightly from campus to campus, you may call the one you target and ask the staff.

Can any K3 parents share which DSS or private schools have the kids got in P.1 07/08?  Which DSS/ private schools accept more students from Think?  Thanks a lot.

My boy is studying in TIS (K3) and my girl is in LN. Fyi, my boy is accepted by 9 DSS/private schools. i choose Evangel Colleage .At the beginning, i planned to put my boy in TIS primary section since the size of the class, i take out this consideration. In my own opinion, a kids aged 6 is not only focused on english, they should learns more such as social communciation, computer....... anyway, TIS is a very excellent school

Thanks a lot.  My girl is in LK (K2).  Wow, your son is so smart that so many schools have accepted him.  Have you applied TSL and succeed ?  I know that the competition is very keen.  Can you tell more about which DSS/ private schools accept more kids from Think as I want to apply only a few which may have more chance.  Thanks for your sharing.

Before i've no idea for any DSS/private school, so just applied all for security. Fyi, i applied TSL and my son was accepted. i choose EC since the location, a dragon, english and mandarin based school and the school fee really cheap........Actually, can't said which schools will accept more who graduated fm Think as i know some of my son's classmate didn't get a seat fm DSS/private school. Just can said, take it easy and believe ur kids can do the best.
