Ascar 在K1A坐在那裏？由於每天都親自送返學，　而且通常都等學校開門，所以我每天都有同Miss So傾，但只是小小時間，倘若有其他小朋友到學校，老師就忙於照顧，我都好怕阻住老師．不如你問吓Ascar識唔識我個囝Trevor呀！

今早我仲知到邊個係校長添！校長大概５０多歲，　穿套裝，手執手袋，每朝都站在一群老師的後面看小朋友上學．初時我仲以為佢係其中一個小朋友嘅家長添，　因為佢仲拿著手袋，唔知佢係唔係睇完Kent Rd D小朋友返學就返去Dorset Rd返工呢！

I phoned school at last Sat. and talking to his class teacher.  
She said "she assign one big boy to take care on my little boy when he is getting on school bus".
And my son will stop eat snack when the next classmate finished his food.  She said he is lovely, but I think he need confidence / time to adjust his school life. :wink:

Daddy take him school this morning and he don't want daddy go away.  Nichole is seating next to my boy.

多謝你讚Ashley個名好聽呀,佢係坐係最近playground張枱背住blackboard面向playground,如其它班上P.E. Lesson時唔知會唔會冇心機上堂呢,掛住望住其他小朋友玩得o甘開心.
Ashley每日都會同我講學校d野,不過唔多,剩係識講唱嘜野歌仔,睇嘜野VCD,係o甘多 ,Trever叻仔好多,知道你日日都可以帶Trever返學真開心,我都想,但係Ashley一同我say bye就勁喊,即刻變左隻koala,返左1年nursery點解仲o甘黏身ga.
係呢,Trever有冇参加興趣班呀,10月初會返TomLee la,依家就返緊Little Gym,如果有其它course,請其他媽咪提出,睇下可唔可以join together.

Trevor sits next to the door and face to the blackboard.  I think you mean Ashley sits in the right hand side of the blackboard, right?  I like the name "Ashley".  Did she tell you what happen in the class.  Last Fri, Trevor got no sticker.  He told my maid he was naughty and careless      "Careless"  I wonder why he knew this word!  We alway tell him "Be Careful" not "Careless".

Miss So also said they are still young.  But you know I heard this term for the last whole year.  When Trevor studied in the Pre-nursery, he has the same problem.  However, he is getting better.  From cannot sit down 5 mins upto sit down 15 mins.  For me, it is a big improve, even he knows how to line up.  But I think it is not the standard of KV.

When I asked Miss So can he communicate with his classmate, her answer was really gave me a shock.  She thinks for a while and told me (with a bit smile), that Trevor has quarrel with another boy in the class.   

From Fri, I keep on telling him no walking around the classroom and not quarrel with others.

Hello!My son is OK now and will go to school today.  actually, we went disneyland yesterday...haha

Your daughter looks young, is she 3 yet?  My son will be 3 next month (Oct).  He cannot tell me much about school but I used the hints from here to ask him and he can reply me.  I guess the age gap can be quite large in a class and I need to expect him less, perhaps.

Let's see how everybody gets on today!

Trevor 從1歲半開始就响尖沙咀YMCA上PLAYGROUP．從呢個暑假開始冇媽媽一齊上，total ８ lessons, 佢都喊咗６堂，初初都唔捨得，次次我要離開都好似生離死別    。後來我忍心ｄ，一走了之去shopping, 最後兩堂就冇喊。而家佢每日入到課室都係攬住我隻腳，好彩Miss So or Miss Mak同佢傾計，教佢玩枱上的玩具，心情好仲會同我Bye Bye.　Trevor夠有讀幼兒園la，佢唔係一樣喊，個個都咁細個，你話點可以不撒嬌呢！

Trevor 將會繼續响YMCA讀英文班，因為環境同TEACHER都熟，下午就去柏斯上“小小莫朼特”音樂班，　教得唔錯!

Trevor都有去過Little Gym, 不過佢太跳皮，我想佢靜吓，所以後來冇join。有個百厭仔，選擇活動都要想清楚先．

I haven't called the class teacher to see how my daughter adapts to the school life at Kentville yet. Maybe I should give her a ring this Sat.
Although my daughter is a 'big girl', she is still quiet and passive in class. I hope that she would speak up more as time goes by.

HI Everyone,
I am with Dorset Campus. (I noticed most of you are on Kent Campus)

Any Dorset K1 parents? my daughter has been crying until throw up everyday since 2nd day. No crying on first day. Sigh. Today, she threw up all over her teacher, both of them had to change their clothes.

My daughter looks so thin, and pale, and puffy eyes, and no more voice from crying for 1 week. I don't know what to do anymore.

She also cannot tell me what they did in class.
She's also very tired after school, I don't know what will happen if she gets off 12:10 next week!

Don't know if I should write this... but I cannot help it. I witness the school buses for 1 week now.

I just want to comment on what I see about the school buses. The Kentville school bus are very good and organized. However, from what I see with the private school buses, it's quite scary. You really have to tell the Bus Mom's to watch the kids more.
B/c of the traffic conditions there, the school buses cannot park, and cannot pull aside near the sidewalk. I see all the private buses letting the students off IN THE MIDDLE of the road. The bus mom usually holds on to ONE student, the rest, hops off the bus and have to walk by themselves to the school entrance. If the child is "naughty" then he/ she will run into the street, which I find VERY dangerous. Maybe as a parent, one also has to teach your child NOT to run away from the bus mom, and really have to watch the cars. This is DORSET campus condition that I am describing).

That's why I decided, I have to drive my daugther to school and pick up by myself until at least K2.

Mavis is learning ballet and english class at Kids Gallery.

Hi Pianokc,
Which class is your daughter in at Dorset campus? My girl is in 1F. She told me that not many classmates cried in class. Actually, she didn't really mention that there were students cried in class.
Did your daughter attend pre-nursery before? If not, she may need longer time to adjust to kindergarten schooling. I think she will be a lot better in 3 weeks time. No worry, the teachers are experienced. How about give her a candy or goody as a reward for not crying in class?

我個女好細架咋真係.. 佢11月先夠3yrs old, 係超細女.. 不過, 佢係屋企就成日吱吱喳喳, 講好多野, 又惡死囉.. 不過, 可能係見唔到佢呢一面架啦.., 因為佢一般出到外面,就膽小如鼠, 唔出聲架啦..

多謝你地比意見我, 因為我唔係同囝囝住, 所以要了解佢地多啲. 今早從奶奶口中得知兩個囝囝今日終於上校車無喊, 重笑住同佢拜拜!  而且放咗學問囝囝細果個(Isaac) 重有問必答(K1B), 最好笑問佢今日係學校玩啲咩, 佢答話" 玩厠所隔離果個野玩囉," 我話即係吔?, "吔你唔知咩? 老師重有買咗好多新玩具添, 跟住就 拜拜 夠竟係吔? 請問有無媽咪知?

Felicia726, my daughter is in 1A. I think not many cried either in her class anymore. My daughter went to pre-nursery for 18 months already... but always had my helper or me in the classroom with her. but during this summer, I already trained her with ballet, and art, and English lessons, she is in those classes by herself, and it's fine. I have NO idea what to do right now.

I always give her a reward (I tell her Mommy waiting for you outside, when you come out, and Miss Lee say you are a good girl, mommy will have a present for you.) Doesn't work yet.... everytime I drop her, she will cry like there is life and death matter.

My husband and I are totally helpless right now. Don't know what to do except, like everyone else says, give it some more time.

No more breakfast tomorrow ..... until Miss Lee says she stopped crying. Otherwise, she will throw up AGAIN tomorrow.

Sigh.

my son also joined playgroup with me since 1 and a half and cried everyday AFTERSCHOOL...how strange!  Perhaps he waited for too long because children ride school bus and mini bus will leave first and they probably have waited over 10 minutes!

Your mother in law gave my son candy today because he was still crying when he saw me afterschool.  Not many parents were in class until the bell rang.  Miss So took my son at the door of my classroom and asked him to wave goodbye to me.  (signalling I shouldn't go in the classroom?!)
I saw your daughter was held by your mother and she looked upset, but no tears!
