Dear Sjmama,
There is a period of regression at the very beginning may be due to chemical reaction in the body.  The child will perform well after getting used to B-12 (it may last for several weeks).

I have asked Sharon, staff of Tim Trodd to give me 2 syringes with the conc B12 for a try.  I have not tried that out on my son yet.  I want to try it on myself first.  According to Sharon, comment from parents who have used it is it is difficult in inject all the stuff towards the end as the conc B12 is quite thick.  And according to one child user who is 10 y.o., he said that he prepared the diluted one as the conc one is more painful on injection.

Yes.  My son just finished the 2nd round of TD-DMSA.   I think the yeast problem is less severe than the Oral DMSA.  However, my son inner arms/legs got redish where TD-DMSA applied.  So we stop the Authia Cream during the days off also.   The TD-DMSA, according to Dr. Trodd will be much slower in detox heavy metal.  But instead of getting too much stimming, I prefer TD-DMSA.  Beware, you have to put on gloves when apply TD-DMSA if you have 補牙 with mercury.

我估我就係嗰個話conc b12 (25mg)好難打哂全部入去的家長.  我嗰仔用緊conc b12(25mg), 第一次時, 佢哋俾"短針", 好易打. 但我第二次再去攞時, 佢哋就用咗另一隻長d的針筒, 佢哋話因為有小朋友話支針痛d, 所以佢哋俾呢種可以"換"針的針筒, 等我返去打的時候, 先換"針"才打, 會冇咁痛喎, 不過因為呢隻可換針的針筒比較粗, 所以打咁少份量的b12時, 支針筒推到盡都仲有大部份留番係筒內, 所以我又返轉頭再攞過一批用"短針窄身不可換針"的b12針.  因為我個仔未識講"痛", 同埋我係等佢瞓咗至打, 佢通常都郁都唔郁, 所以我又唔覺佢會痛.

我嗰仔最初打(10mg)b12, 後來有家長話high conc.(25mg)好d, 所以轉咗(25mg), 第一次攞咗成包(有17-18支), 已打完, 早排再去攞第二次.  打過(25mg), 真係好過10mg好多, 因為容易打得多, 之前打10mg時, 又手震又騰雞, 好幾次都打唔哂, 又或者整醒阿仔....當然狂喊啦...

My son has been using the high concentration B12 syringes twice as a trial last week suggested by Sharon.  This is definitely more user friendly as it  only takes 1.5 second to finish the injection.  My son didn't complain which type caused more painful.  I heard from Trodd's nurse that some kids complained the high concentration one caused more pain like jasper 888 said.

You got to be patient for a few more weeks.  Report to Dr. Trodd if your son's problem persists.  You may think to shift back the low concentration syringe as a trial to see any difference between these two syringes since your son has some positive effect before when he took the injection from Dr. Lam.

AP parents training is for clients only.  For the TD-glutathione cream, we're using the Lee Silsby prescribed by Dr. Trodd.  Don't you remember you recommended this one here in this column.

各位,

好似冇mug見有人提過用塞肛的dmsa and edta?  

我本來只用 edta 的, 隔日塞 (1個星期3次), 巳塞了12次, 因為同時間隔日用epsom salt 沖涼, 所以基本上日日都有boo boo. 最近 dr. lam 俾埋 塞肛的 dmsa 我, 要一星期連續塞兩日, 佢話塞肛最effective, 唔使經過腸道... 所以而家的schedule 係星期1,3,5塞edta, 6,日塞dmsa.  係唔係太過 aggressive呢?

阿仔近期的表現是大起大落的. 肯做的時候係乖都你唔信, 但係亦很多時好似波子機咁彈來彈去, 叫極都唔應.  我都唔知佢算唔算有 yeast problem, 所以 dr lam 俾我的 anti-fungal 遲遲都未食.

其實我更concern 的是會否給他帶來暗影, 一星期5日都要同佢struggle 一輪先塞到, 而家耐唔時都問我"今晚使唔介使打針" (佢叫這做打針).  以前佢會自問自答的說 pat pat 要來 boo boo, 而佢會話 pat pat 用來打針. 聽得好心up.

目前為止我仍是一星期帶阿仔去dr.lam 道打一次 b12針. 他每次都會連同glutathione 一起打的.

Dr. Trodd prescribed 10mg/2ML B12 in tiny, thin prefilled syringes.  I find it rather handy and am now rather confident to do the shot.  Our son hasn't conplained as we do it while he is deep asleep.  At first we were not aware of the importance of having deep sleep and did the shot just after less than 30 mins.  That of course didn't do and the pain woke him up.  We wasted 3 to 4 shots at the beginning.  Now we usually wait until he is getting into his cycle of deep sleep, i.e. for at least 45 mins.  This works well.  .Dr. Neubrander's instructions are really helpful.

We will wait and see.  We had hoped to follow Dr. Neubrander's protocol more closely and use his Parent's Report Form for monitoring our son's progress.  But the form is really too long and detailed.  So I just leave it aside for the time being.  Will go to see Dr. Trodd this Sat to get more stocks and see more advice.

I also feel that it becomes difficult to get my son to take the B12 injection.  He struggles a lot and even though bargains with me that "不如唔食糖，唔好打針針"

How's old your kid?  I never tried 塞肛的dmsa but personnally, I don't prefer 塞肛, though it may be more effective.  1,3,5塞edta, 6,日塞dmsa.  The child may be uncomfortable.

我仔三歲. 其實係要塞落去個下佢好 tense 同哭得很厲害, 只要塞得夠入(用一支thin stick 推入d) 其實就沒什麼大感覺的. 每次塞完我都即刻用wet tissue wipe 乾淨周圍, make sure 沒留痕跡, 否則他會覺得"拿"的. 最初我沒有這樣做, 他會很不comfortable, 又唔識講, 只叫我要錫佢pat pat, 我真的鍚完一邊後, 他說"錫中間呀"~~~~

Thanks a lot for your information.  I will ask the staff for highly concentrated B12 next week.  As he is extremely 牛皮肉韌，I don't know whether it is easy to inject or not.

你仔仔用緊既療程似乎幾aggressive.一週塞肛5次聽落都"鄧"你仔仔辛苦.不過要相信醫生判斷.你大可要求做小便化驗,update下的重金屬走勢,再決定是否繼續用之前的療程.

Dr. Lam highly recommended me to purchase it when I’d visited he for two times.  He said that after we read the book, we would know why our kid likes that and how to protect our kid in future.  I’d like to seek your kind assistance to look for where I can buy it in HK.  I’ve already checked the stock in the large bookstores in HK but in vain.  As I know, I can buy it through the internet of website: www.chemcialfreekids.com.  Do any mum want to buy it, please let me know.
