Hi Dommom,

Yes, I 've started to rotate 3 types of Probiotics for my son 2 months ago such as Culturelle, Kirkman's Hypoallergenic Pro-BioGold and Acidophilus powder.

唔該哂. 我都有kirkman acidophilus powder. 我個仔第一次去見dr trodd, 佢就俾呢隻.  我個仔的dosage都係1/4 tsp, 一日兩次. 之後有另一家長話俾我聽, probiotics要有幾隻輪住嚟食先有效, 所以再問dr trodd, 佢就再開咗嗰隻probio gold俾我. 所以我而家都係呢兩隻隔住嚟俾阿仔食.
講開又講, 我大女今年6年班, 政府派人去佢學校幫小一同小六打疫苗針, 我結果都決定放棄打政府果隻針, 約咗聽日帶阿女去dr trodd度打, 因為包冇mercury....

SJmama, I think the theory behind rotatingprobiotics is because different brands of probiotics has different "strings" of bateria.  We have to have as many varieties of beneficial bacteria in our guts in order to fight the undigested food which may produce bad bateria.

While shopping through Wing On today, I have bought the Waterpil water purifier for kitchen tap water use.  It was said to be able to remove pollutants in addition to bacteria, heavy metals, cysts, chlorine etc..

It was much cheaper than Diamond Water nor Everpure and I am going to instal that to all my taps for use if it works out fine.

One problem is one cannot run water >38 degrees Celcius through this filter of Waterpik model.  Can hot water be used for the Diamond water / Everpure water filter?

I don't quite understand what you really meant.  It is common practice that we do not drink the hot water from the hot water tap even you boil it afterward.  The heat exchange mechanism in the hot water supply is not clean enough and there may be dirt in the system.  Therefore it is usually for washing oily dishes.  

Hot water cannot pass through filter as it will damage the filter membrane and the assciated filter sand/active coal in the filter.

Dear Kawaii,

I have used the filter water 'machine' at the washing basin in the toilet too.  Since it helps to remove lead, bacteria etc., I thought it will be good for washing hands and face too.  The problem if I am to use this filtered water, I need to wash my hands using cold water.

I am also using a filter (bought by my cousin) at the showers too.

Dear Kawai, Stella,
I have a problem here want to get some idea from you.
My son's bahavious was quite bad in the obeying the order and routine discipline around CNY. And he got sick after CNY, that is why we stopped all supplement and I realized that he was much better at that period, so did the comment from school.
Since he was better then, I started the supplement again (without any DMSA, ETDA... as he reacted badly upon that), but he got active again. How come the normal supplement will affect him so much? Must I stop all of that? even B12 injection? I am really confused...

Dear all,

For the glutathione gel from Tim, there are 2 preparations to be used together.  According to the instruction sheet, I just mixed them together to apply onto my son.  I tried it on myself yesterday and local itchiness was experienced that subsided after half an hour.  One of my friend who brought the medicine on-line said that she will first apply the accompany cream first, then followed by the glutathione gel.

May I know how you apply your glutathione gel?

Dear jasper888,

I put the accompany cream on his foot and the Glutathione cream on top of it.  Then I gently and slowly rub around his foot.  I do not mix the two kinds of cream prior to using them. I apply the cream once only instead of the recommended dosage at twice per day.   There is nothing special on my son according to my observation.  However, I usually apply the cream before he goes to bed and this may be the reason why he does not feel itch.

I really don't know how to give you the advice.  Since your son has been reacting well with the bio-treatment as well as B12 injection, you better check with Dr. Lam and keep stopping him any supplement for a while.  You may reintroduce the supplement one by one gradually later if you still want to continue the whole treatment.

I put both creams on the glass dinning table then mix with my pointer with a glove on before rubbing on my son's body.  I rotate the skinned area of application each time as suggested by the manufacturer.  He did complain the smell but no itchy feeling.  I also apply the cream once at night as I'm too lazy to prepare it in the morning.
