三間小學不錯，亦有直屬中學，預留 85% 學位給直屬小學。若從中學而論，St Joseph 較受家長心儀。

A profile has become sort of a must in application to private or DSS schools.  Can't say if it is really necessary.  But would you try not to include one?  I wouldn't.   

St Jo is different from the other 2 in that it is an aided school.  Admission in the first stage is based on points, and in the second stage, it is a lucky draw.   I've heard that they accept applicants' profiles in the first stage of application, but I don't think it is necessary.   Of course it is a different story if you are going to knock at the door after the lucky draw.

St. Paul Boy normally accept the application of P1 middle of Sep. every year. You may check their website. www.spc-ps.edu.hk

You must submit your application by yourself. No mail application is allowed.

IMO, it is very important for you to prepare a good 5-page profile for your son. (You may print both sides of the page)

You can find many information from BK web.
I just find that the interview procedure is almost same from 2004 till now.

The interview is simple. Just remind your boy to keep good manner and reply what he knows.

面試期間，校長室大門是打開的，容許家長離遠看著仔仔面試。面試時校長給小孩看一幅畫，要小孩說說畫裏有什麼特別(按:畫中有很多的東西是按常理放置，沒什麼特別:但當中有一掃把是倒轉放置的，可能想考小朋友觀察力，但我仔仔結果也講不出來(因他未見過這種用具)。跟著校長跟小朋友談話，面試過程大概這樣而已。

最後st paul boys' college primary school都收了他做正取生(準則真是只有校長至知)，可能因我husband是聖保羅書院舊生的關係(因按其計分制度可有加分)，但我仔同班同學個daddy亦是男保羅old boy，卻只列入第1批候補生(稍後一段日子都通知話收佢)。

另外，我細佬個仔讀九龍塘根德園，去考st paul boys' 連waiting list 都唔入，所以真唔知係唔係好似學校所講用計分制(校網上有講小一收生計分制)

不過根據校長講，有成1000人列為第1批候補生，一但有人放棄學位，學校就會第一時間通知輪候生補上

1000人列為第1批候補生?學位有90個，還有第2、3批候補生.....。我看應是100人。
