yes, they have.  but the online mama said the class was not good.

The course for 1 yr old is called "toddlerobic".(something like that)  My friend has signed up for this course and she didn't like it.
I've never tried it before, so, no comment.
But the playgroup for 18 months old baby is good.

Anyone has joined the Activity Chest offered by Anfield?  Any comments?

My son studied in Anfield - Activity chest program since 2 yrs 11 mos old ( Jan to till now ).

As the class is independent class, my child learn much in
the class. It's good.

I will keep join in the group.

The teacher is Natasha, she is good.

But my problem is:

my boy is only 2.5 yrs old, not yet reached the min age for Acitivity Chest.  Don't know if the school allows an interupt in Oct.  My boy can attend the class without me.  It seems not necessary to enrol for the pre-programme.  

Maybe I shall write to the Principal then.

what do the children learn from the class?

They learn thru activity.

As my son did not study N1, he studied playgroup
everyday. All the class conduct in Eng, but after he study
in Anfield Sat morning class, I found he can speak more
fluent. like this semester, the theme is Pirate. When I
show the handout to him, he recognize it as tresure map and pronounce properly.he seems quite enjoy in the class
and have fun there.

this is my observation and feeling, not represent all.

if they have vacant, you can consult with them if you can join in after 2.8 yrs old. the main point is under 2.8 yrs
old, all the child should be studied accompany with 1
adult , it seems the rule from govt.

Graham,

You join the class on weekdays or Sat?  I'm still considering since my hubby disagree to attend any class on sat but I'm not sure he could attend any pm class on weekdays after morning school. ooosp!!

Do you mean your son join their playgroup?  I think the Activity Chest is only held on Sat AM/ PM?

I will send my son to a local N1 but I want him to study English in Intl KG on the weekends with fun.  I think Anfield should be a good choice

day class.

if u want to enhance his Eng, just send him to Eng class
after lesson, I think an hour class is okay.

Hey , which local school for your son attend in Sept.
I finally choose Pui Ching for my son as we both like
activity approach and he can guarantee a reserved
seat of Primary school. if my son fail to admit DBS,
he still can study in band 1 primary school.

Hi Graham Mom,

My boy will study in Victoria(HMT) from tomorrow!!  Actually the class starts from today but it 's cancelled due to the typhoon signal no. 3.

I know another boy who joined the summer program and would also study in Pui Ching!  It seems that you've well planned for your son.  Any idea to DPS(old) or DBSPD(new)?  I would apply both but really just a try!

apply for primary school, may be a little bit for pure luck,
like applying for Pui Ching, we really are shock of the
result as we originally treat the interview as a rehearal,
but finally Graham got accepted by this school.  So we
recjected the offer from SC & KV.
