EC再一次令一班充滿誠意的父母失望…

This is a shocking news when I check this forum this morning!

We have many parents here going through 2 stages of interviews and by other means showing our sincerity and eagerness to have our kids to be enrolled to EC.  But they are asking those who gave up their opportunities for a priority interview (priority = no need to resubmit application)?!!!

I hope that Principle Vincent Lo does see this forum and shares our concerns.  We don't mind if eventually our kids get rejected because EC can find better kids for their P1 places, but it has to be a fair game.

PS: I don't have calls nor letters until this moment.

We have received the acceptance letter from EC today. The stampchop is 25 oct and we are requested to complete the registration by 31 oct.

Today afternoon i go to EC for registration of P.1.  After payment, I see Principal Lo and Rev Lee.  They are very nice and said welcome my son to join EC. There are no more parents for registration. So i think all qpplicants can keep up and good luck to all of you.

I have not received letter or tel call from school yet.  It is apparently the arrangement of result announcement is messing up.  I was believing I could not receive anything by 26/10 because the experience got from the 1st round interview told me it was impossible and it comes true.  How come someone receives call & letter, but the majority gets nothing up-to-now but the deadline registration date is 31/10.  I don't mind if they set a late announcment date but please do not set a date they are actually unable to reach (and had never been reached).

The other thing I was disappointed was the criterias they set for the interview.  Why were some kids asked to answer in PTH, English and Cantonese, but some kids were just English and Cantonese?  Some kids took quite a long time and some were not?

Why is there parent invited to enter the 3rd interview by phone call whom did not show up in the 2nd interview?  Is the 3rd interview only invite or select the target kids by school itself?

dear all,

pls cold down. what i can say is EC really can meet the deadline this time. for those successful kids, they already received a phone call fm school on this tue/wed and received the offical letter on thur. if u still haven't received the call within today, that means 95% ur application is failed. the school is holding a few seat for those who are really 誠意,
