I think the word "active" is too general, in my opinions, kinder should also concern about the child's concentration, discipline, self-care and the way they interact with others, so don't be too negative.....can he follow all the tasks? did he say "good morning" & "goodbye" to teachers? any eye contact with them?

BTW, my son was not so active on that day and one of the leading teacher said to me that my son was quiet and timid.  What do you think about the chance to enter this KG?

My boy was attentive and could look at teachers for most of the time.
In the end of the interview, we are the last one to leave the classroom and I intentionaly let my son to have more time to stay with the teachers--to say goodbye and  to give them goodbye kiss.
When the NET asked, "What's your name?" and my boy answered pretty good.

I heard from another BK mummy who also took her kid to Cheung Lung during the term break holiday.  She said that her son loved this place very much because there're many many suitable games for them.  She advised me to go there during weekday that no need to queue long.  Can you share your package with me?  But it seems that there's no school holiday before Christmas.  I want to go very much as so many kids love it.

My son has applied for the next yr K1 and now he is in the playgroup of HMT victoria.

We are hoping some mami can help to answer our enquiry abt this school. Thanks a lot!

According to my husband 's observation during the last playgroup session, he found that there are >30+ kids playing together in the common playgroud. It's noisy and messy. And the latecomer has no chance to play their favourate toys. Like my son, he wait for abt 10 min and still has no chance to drive the car.

But since my husband only has one day holiday and accompany my son to school on that day. We don't know whether the arrangement was same on the other days. Because when we ask the  teacher on interview day, her answer was only a few kids playing together each time. ??

I will meet the teachers this afternoon at 4:45 p.m.  We can all share our findings afterwards.  

Sometimes, I find it very interesting in visiting the school internet, looking at their school life photos.

Hi all
I met the teachers at 4:45 p.m. yesterday.  Since I was the last one, the teachers spent 45 minus for me.  The teachers have no concern on her academic development that she's progressing well in both Chinese and English, she's quite active, cheerful, pro-active, willing to express herself, enjoy learning and living well with the classmates.  However, sometimes she is impatient and not concentrate in class.  Just wonder if there's any interest class that can help to enhance children's concentration, particularly for kids at age 3, any idea?

In A2 class, there are approximately 13 boys and 8 girls.
I think concentration should not be easily achieved by attending class, but daily training. Some of my friends had attended classes of this, result not very obvious, then they quit. I don't know much of the details, seems playing games which need more patience.

Thanks for the advice.  I agree that training of concentration is not easy and it is not only trained by attending a few classes.

It's interesting to learn from the teacher that the class provides a "listening chair".  If any of the students are not concentrated in listening to the teacher, she/he will then be requested to sit on that chair (which is just next to the teacher) for a few minutes.  They can then be released if they perform well in listening.

She attended drawing class in summer, but mainly for "creativity" rather than 專注力.  In fact, I think that 棋藝班 could help to achieve this, however, she's still small to attend such one.

The teacher told me that they would have stage performance on 15 Dec (I believe it's for all K1 classes).   Remember to take leave on that day.  Time is running fast, 去年情景仍瀝瀝在目!

其實唔係從畫畫中學專注力，係從個過程學呀，因為要坐定定，全副精神放落張畫度，咁就可以訓練佢的專注力呀。

cheukyiu 鍾唔鍾意砌 puzzle 呀？nestor 以前都坐唔定的，後來我俾 puzzle 佢玩，佢好有興趣呀，越砌越多塊，專注力改善左好多，而家可以自己一個人坐定定砌足一個鐘的，佢可以砌到 96 塊 puzzle 呀。
