我囝囝是坐校巴回校的, 早上需時較長, 8:05上車, 8:40-8:45到校, 回程5:30上車, 6:00抵家, 月費: hk$745.  因為是學校專車, 司機叔叔好好.  上星期五, 兒子回家後, 因工人弄鬆了電話線, 致電回家一直無人接, 情急下給司機叔叔致電, 看是否塞車或其他.  馬叔叔表示一小時前囝囝已下車, 主動請纓回下車處代找小兒(因事隔一小時, 所以當然不會麻煩馬叔叔), 但他們真的很盡責, 事後再致電跟進是否已找到小兒, 所以一直很放心讓囝囝坐校車.

Is yr child is studying in p.1 ? How's the school and
school teacher ? I had applied this school of year 2006 p.1 and waiting the result...

Learnt from others.. there have so many homework
everyday, is it true ? M/T, the secondary school is
Chinese school not English.. Do you know that ?
Please share to me, tks.

My kid is only k3, studying in Kln city kindergarten.  I got 2 friends' kids studying in P.1 and P.2 in St. Joseph, for the P.2 kid who came from 根德園, found the amt of homeworks okay (comment from his parents only as there are 5-6 daily, 8-10 during weekend) and he can finish the HW at around 9:00pm.  For the P.1 kid, who came from 啟思, cannot stand for the amount of homework and heard from his parents that, he can only complete all at about 10-11pm. So that's why we always talking about as a parent, what do you want from your kid and what kind of primary life, you want to provide to your kid.  And confirmed the secondary school is a Chinese one.  Besides, one more thing want to share, which is you will hear a lot from your kid that the teacher scold the kid in front of the class just because he cannot answer one question or known one word.  And the teacher will ask the kid "to make sure your mother/parent will teach you the answer/the word before you return to school"  From my friend's experience, this is a major part of school life of his kid and what she heard from her kid....

I would rather let my kid to study in a happier school, so study more before you make your final decision.

What would you choose if both LHT & st.joseph's both accepted your child ?

I applied above schools as well and I would choose LHT as it has a linked EMI secondary school headed by same Principal and the p-school had a good track record on both acadamic and extra-curricium's performance. Do you agree ?

But my first choose is PLKTSL and I am waiting
2nd interview letter...

Yes, waiting result of PLKTSL. But higher competition but mode of study is similar to PLKLHT, right ? the difference mainly in regard to school size, facilities, linked-secondary school, school net and language.

Hi SChau,

The different are :-

1) school size and facilities.

2) Language - Learnt TSL is English teaching and they have another language as French and Japanese.
But for LHT, since is the traditional school.. not sure
the mode had been change or not. When I had interview, I also asked the teacher and they said is
English in this year...

3)linked secondary school - LHT have, but TSL havn't linked with other secondary school.

I still not received the result of interview. In the application form , it has say that result will be announce before 17/11/2005 . Only those are succeed will be informed via letter. I do not understand that why they will not inform those who are fail , since they are me submit one return mail envelop.

i am also waiting for the result but want to know if there are somebody start to receive the registration letter, if so, it means that the school had annouced the result.

How about the result of TSL School? He failed in 1st interview. But, I'm waiting for the other Primary's result.

I had recieved the 2nd interview letter of TSL....
Hope is OK la.. this is my 1st choice...

The 2nd interview seems OK la...
But my son is quite nervous when he was introduced
himself, sound is low.. but he was the 1st one to completed the plazze..hope he can grant by TSL la...
