FYR, my daughter had an interview in March, about 50 minutes. The Chinese teacher and English teacher were with her. The parents were waiting outside the school. There was no need to interview the parents. My daughter told me that she was painting, reading story books, and playing. The teacher asked her Question and answer "just chatting."
After the interview, the teacher told me how her performance was. Because my daughter can't speak Mandarin, she mostly communicated with the English teacher and then went home to waited for an email.

She enjoys school life very much, loves teachers and classmates. She said she hopes to go to school every day and does not want to take a holiday, it is team break now

今日都收到year 2 offer,本身小朋友讀local,想知其他小朋友多唔多識講港東話？怕自己小朋友一時間未習慣全英/普通話，變得好似識唔到同學仔，想聽下意見！

同學們係有local及外籍，女最近發現某同學係識講廣東話的（之前佢一路都唔知），跟住我問佢，咁你地用廣東話溝通呀？佢答我：英文
係學校氛圍內，老師教學語言就只有普通話及英文。
至於適應問題，唔需要擔心，父母要有耐性比多d時間佢慢慢去適應，加上小朋友適應係好快的，鼓勵佢勇敢d、嘗試踏出第一步去認識下新同學，都係成長嘅一課。

而家教育局話返4個鐘，所以係8:45-1:00pm，無左個lunch，所以其實無咩分別
