Does anyone know how many seats are there in Pre-Reception, Reception and Year 1?
I've already mis ...
I checked with the admission office, for reception year, they only take around 30 students.
Btw, for those who is on waiting list for reception year. FYI, there are around 100 kids on waiting list and on the waiting list they categorise average pass and high pass for the assessment.
Thanks for the information! I tried to call admission office but always no one answer the phone...
We didn't even get a parent interview so very likely in the average pass category
Thanks for the information! I tried to call admission office but always no one ...
you can call the school and ask the admission officer to call back. We don't have parents interview as well but the last told me that my son is at the high pass category.
Offer letters received last friday and this monday. I have two kids, one got into pre-recept AM and one got into Prep. Had parent interview and we are canadian passport holders.
Does anyone got reject letter?
Got wait list letter, do we still need to pass the parents interview if seat is available?
I thinking holding a Canadian passport got priority right?!

Thanks for your information.
Means there is no chance for getting in grade 1, is my understanding ...
Grade 1 in CDNIS is equivalent to year 1 in British system (esf etc). If you mean year 1 in british system (5 year old), then there will be 12 seats + leavers (average about 10 per year). But heard this year most of these go to siblings (like the situation in ICS).

Honestly, I guess having Canadian passport does not have too much edge in the application process a ...
That's true. The admission team told me they are very fair to all candidates and mainly rely on the assessment result. Canadian passport only guarantees interview but not more than that.

120 for grade 1, 125 for grade 2-5 etc. i have amended the above.
Not sure about other grades, but I am pretty sure that only 40 slots (not 80 slots) for Pre-reception meaning one am class and one pm class with 20 kids in each; and 120 slots for Reception grade, meaning add of additional 4 classes compared to Pre reception.
In this sense, Reception is the largest take-in among all the grades.
