考 2016 大學

第一次去港大，感覺校舍 “舊 ”.
唔識路，
問學生，佢地普遍都唔清楚間大學嘅位置？？？
問保安，個保安竟然問返我知唔知個 faculty 嘅地址，因佢唔記得左？？？
沿路有學生派發其學院嘅資料介紹，但唔會主動派家長？？難道係第一年做 open day, 唔知有家長代學生到場取資料嗎？    
行去 information counter 問路，點知都不是個個識.
最醜怪嘅係有個學生正在用英文解答一個十多歲似初中學生嘅問題，d 英文講到 ju ju 下，完全唔流利，其實我唔明點解佢要講英文，個細路又唔係外國人！！

Bling2013, 我都想知有邊幾間U收咗你亞女。佢修humanities subjects 都取得咁好成績，請問是那幾科? 我亞女讀year 12, 修 History, Sociology, Business, Maths。不知會否取得這麼好成績。

係架！因為佢地係上網睇，好少會睇電視，依家阿細都係睇叮噹，仲係以前全叔把聲至好睇喎！

記得我十幾廿年前貪玩讀過夜中學，讀中三英文，當時老師已講大學生既英文好唔掂，講到甩甩咳咳。咁你諗下到依家會變成點呢？

What is the purpose of the deposit?
If I pay the deposit and meet the conditional offer requirements. However I don't take the offer, can I get back the deposit?

In reverse,if I do not meet the offer requirement finally, they will refund the  deposit to me?

送呀仔去英國讀書其一原因就係香港學生的英文越來越差，以前中學畢業英文也ok, 但現在大學畢業英文都麻麻當然只有少部份係好的

It may not be easy for children to learn good English at university level.  There are too many HK and Chinese students studying in universities in US, UK and Australia.  I have met many university graduates from overseas with poor English.

Kingdom，我女修 Eng Lit, History, Math, French。 香港學生讀文科，要取得好成績，其實要很勤力，也十分忙，因要寫很多 essay。 你女女才剛開始 Y12，待她有較具體的成績出來，才考慮報那些大學也不遲，入 UCAS 也只是明年九月之後的事，現在正好讓她想清楚，將來想讀什麼科。 Sociology & Business 取得 B 並不難，A 便要多做 past paper。

所以越早出國讀書越好，到上大學才去英文也較難學好己定型了

同意！呀大今年有個在港名中學 IB 畢業嘅同學剛於 九月去左 UK 讀 university，佢找呀大求救及教佢點做，話好難溶入 d  同學 ，溝通唔到, 教完佢後佢話改善左好多！

無諗到連咁出名嘅國際學校，一向以英文教學及講英文，且係好 top 校外試成績，讀到攞埋獎學金都有咁嘅情況出現

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)
大家讀sixth form 的仔女有無考取呢個 EPQ ? 今日收到學校邀請家長去睇今年 Y13同學present 自己的research project. 學校話呢個係學校Oxbridge program 其中一個項目，大學見到有 EPQ,對入大學好有幫助。 IB 課程有類近的 project ...所以只係比 A level班學生參予。

我真係第一次聽。
