Failed UK VISA application, please help.

看來, 訂機票要訂早一日到了。不過孩子去那裏好呢? 一日, 去 guardian 度, 唉很麻煩! 得佢一個飛。

Update:

VISA office just replied, the rules for CAS term dates/Clearance Permit duration/Landing dtes are going to be relaxed effective from 9 July. They will then be able to issue VISA to those that are deferred.

For those who are thinking of changing their flight schedule may take a second look.

NB: some schools become BRP collection centers and some students do not need to go to post office, if anyone is interested please contact their school to see if they can get it from the school.

可否解釋一下, 不是太明白。意思是否之前已取 visa 的, 如果 clearance period 同 arrival date 有出入, 之後可以向 領事館要求另發一個新的 visa?  還是 7月9日之後申請 visa 的話, 不會那麼嚴格規定入境日期?

I don't really know if someone has already withdrawn their application, may be they should wait for the official rule to come out and then proceed.

For those who have the applications deferred, like me, may withhold their plan of changing their flights or other similar moves and wait for the new rules to implement.

Do you mean not too long there will be official announcement as to what to do with those who have already got their visa but have problems like clearance period doesn't fit their arrival date, etc?   Maybe something like this will happen:   when the student arrive in UK, the immgration officer will not  be so strict/adhere  so much to the clearance date.  The student will still be able to enter UK without problems.

Thanks a lot for the information.   Hope the official announcement will be made soon and that it will ease the worries of those who have problems with their visa clearance date.

Once again, I really do not know what will happen if someone has already been issued a clearance permit that will expire before the intended date of landing. But I think from their reply and my "impression" is that they may grant more flexibility (probable due to the complains the received) to those holder.

No harm wait for a few more days before doing anything too inconvenient.

Anyway, this is good news.    It also reflects that the UK visa office do listen to complains!

Yes, but they hold up my application as deferred case, probably because they are aware of the rules will change and want to issue those affected later

School advised that it became one of the BRP collection centre after we had submitted the online application form.
We made amendment at the print out when we submit the visa application, however, the amendment seemed to be ignored and we still need to go to the post office for collection.

我建議你早點簽證

我咁遲先搞係因為六月頭學校email叫大家唔好申請住，學校會做BRP collection centre等D學生唔洗去郵局，但係佢一搞就搞咗幾個星期，令我趕唔切去玩之前搞英國個visa!
