Last time I spoke to the Head, she said there is Chinese homework everyday.  

I guess reading homework everyday for this age is ok.  I know a very elite private boys prep school in London (I meant Elite cos almost half of the boys get SCHOLARSHIPS at their elite senior schools, such as Harrow school/St Paul Boys/Eton).  They do not interview their children at year 1 entrance so I believe it must be the way they teach the children (and of cos with parents help too) to help the children to do so well.  The boy I know at year 2 only has reading books everyday n spelling once a week.  His elder sister goes to another elite girl's school (this sch interviews children) and in y3, she has 1 homework a day.

I'd asked my friend whose boy study at Shatin Junior, she said her child only need to read one story book as homework everyday at year 1.Since we transferred from local school, we had 4-6 homework at P.1 (1st term), it's really busy !!!!

主要內容是講學校會逐步改善環境，新學年前會完成首三層的改善工程，
會有 music room, science lab, library, multi purpose room, etc.
2014-15 year 1 原計劃開四班，現可能開五班， 因好多人報讀。
老師巳經在招聘中，新學年會有十七位或更多，每班会有两位班主任。
subjects offerred等，可看校網。
