HK education system is a complete failure. Those interviews really could not identify kids real ability. Those who are active and willing to answers questions would be the winners but doesn't really mean they are really smart. Those who need more time to warm up or simply don't like to be asked would be at disadvantage positions in HK. HK education could not develop kids with good interpersonal skills, strong critical thinking and creativities. These are the most important elements in today's world. Hence doesn't matter which school they could get in. If parents can afford should send them to study aboard when they get older.
"我認為大半孩子的能力其實差不多。" - I do not fully agree. When I went to the class observation in my boy's KG when he was in K3, the academic level, language skills and presentation skills of the students in his class vary A LOT.
