That's a very correct and practical attitude :養兒100歲,長憂99,讀什麼也好,最重要還是教他做人的態度.

re: your worrites that studying in LSC means a lot of copying抄寫，it is not so.
I learnt from my friend (whose son is studying in LSC) that one of the exam questions for early P2 Engl, sentence - completion, was "I wish I had ..........".  After the exam, a student told his mother that the teacher had given him the wrong question, the correct question should be "I wish I were ....." and completed his own question.

Parents also need to do quite a lot of "homework", e.g. for P3, one of the projects was to pick one aspect of the area around LSC (Kln City) and complete a project covering say law and order, which includes a questionnaire and analysis report on the questionnaire, historical background of e.g. police station or district court, etc.
Not the stagnant type of homework, actually very much activity-based.

Believe me, you have a pretty good chance being accepted by DBSPD.

So far as I know, there are a few kids who got accepted but their parents do not plan to let them study there. Some may go to DPS instead.

Yes, he has atended the 小一入學面試班 for about two months nearer the interview period.  To a certain extent, it is useful as it knows the formality.  My opinion is that it does not take too long as other factors like behaviour and knowledge are absorbed thru daily lifes but not thru the interview classes.

i think the course  for interview is useful ,but my kid  only go to 小童群益會的面試班,but i think for famous school 作用可能不大,我旨在比佢玩下罷,群益會不是針對性的approach
