Interview questions same as mine, 8 oct am. Maybe our daughters were in the same group.

Somebody says DGJS will screen out those who chose Cantonese or mandarin as their first language. How true is this?

i heard they used p5/p6 girls as helper.  from these helpers did you manage to find out what kind of students they like?  Or you can more or less tell how will you girl like after 6 years there?

That's what on my mind after our first interview, too. My feelings from observations and limited interaction with their P.5/6 helpers are:
- a bit cool
- efficient to work out what teachers asked
- good communication skills
- mature (behave like F1, 2, 3)
- very skinny, hahaha...that's really what I found
- confident and able to deal with strangers

yeah, most of them look pale and skinny, but I did see one who is pretty fat.

Has 2nd interview started already? My daughter told me she saw parents with girls coming for interview this afternoon after school.

My girl was sick on 9/10 so delay the 1st in to today~ that can explain what your daughter saw...

Yes, as there is no proof that English speaking kids are smarter.  If their target is for English speaking only, why bother to allow Cantonese and Mandarin speaking applicants ?
