Today my son had spent nearly 1 hour in completing all the 3 homework!  He spent over 30 mins in doing the colouring work on the number book.  He doesn't like colouring at all!

yes, 2A's teachers are Ms. Yu and Ms. Fong.

I ask my son to complete all the homework b4 dinner so that we can have more time to play with him at nite and he can wake up late in the morning (around 9:00am).  He has extra-curricular activities on Mon/Thur/Fri morning.  Also, if possible, I want him to practice piano in the morning (when the mind is more refreshing).  That's why I don't want to leave the homework to next morning.

I read from other thread that some teachers may ask the kids to make a tick on the page no. of the Chinese story book so that parents could know the teaching progress.  This remind me that Ms. Suen had mentioned the same thing during the orientation.  So I'd checked Calix's book last nite and found the tick signs (they used pencils for marking...too soft...not easily to be seen).
My son told me the names of 范曉慧，朱詩詠(Christina) ，善(同音）心妍﹠Ropet.

Calix told me Ms. Lee had reviewed some shapes with them (circle, triangle, rectangle & square).
Also Ms. Lee asked them to write 0 to 5 (with dominos) on a clear paper and bring back to school tmw.

On Mon & Tue, my son had completed 2 pages of "1" on the Number Book but today I found that the work on page 2 was erased (my son said Ms. Lee asked him to erase it).  So my son needed to "re-do" page 2 on that book today.  Also, b4 today, my son had written the date on the Number Book homework but Ms. Lee said they don't need to write the date wor.

For Chinese story book, I saw my son had put check marks till p.15 and he said they need to do the homework on p.14 (he had drawn a 火柴人 to represent himself!).  What about p.15?  Do they need to do the checklist on the bottom page?

I keep asking my son whether they have PTH lesson yet but he said no.  Yet, they had music lesson again today (so frequent...is that true?).

Thanks to Camom, otherwise, my daughter only remember some of the stuff, but not all the stuff. If it is not you who help all the parents of K2H, I am afraid my daughter may miss some homework. So thank you once again, v much appreciated indeed.

did u get any info on Show & Tell? Mine said Alan(?) did it on Tue, and nobody on Wed? Not sure if this is the case.

Hi LA,

Today I dropped my son to school...Ms. Lee told me that Calix had 做多咗一版數學功課 on Tuesday.  The colouring work is on the page of "2".  I'm such a careless mom!

Thank you!  Sometimes I'm not sure what my son told me is correct or not.  Yet, just want to share here so that we can know what's going on in school now.  Hope there'll be more discussions/sharings in our thread.

They'd PTH lesson today.  Ms. Yu taught them saying 「老師好／再見」「小朋友好／再見」。My son told me that Ms. Yu spoke w/portable mircophone.

Ms. Lee taught them saying "I go to Kentville Kindergarten" with much emphasis on the pronounciation.

They'd finished doing "H" in class and need to complete "J" at home.

The Chinese story book was taught up to p.23 & they need to do the works on P.18 & 19.

Ms. Suen had told them something about Mid-Autumn Festival, e.g.「八月十五是中秋」， the food (fruit, taro & mooncake), the shape of the moon etc..

They had music lesson again today and a new song/rhyme was learnt:

I'll step...1, 2, 3.
I'll step...4, 5, 6.
Now back...1, 2, 3.
Now up...4, 5, 6.
Then I run out of sight!

My son said Ms. Suen asked them to wrap the Chinese star book.

陳梓雯 returned to school after absent for 2 days and Gian was absent yesterday & today.

My son didn't mention the handbook but I wrapped it for him also as K2's handbook is very important, right?
