I think my boy read english book as he perfer. May be just a reading table that the kid can pick what he like. Teacher will look at their behaviour only. Regarding to games, it seems there are other kids around. He was not alone to play. I think my son forget most of the details by now. He does not have a long memory as usual.

I heard that the school reserved 70% of the seat for "related application". Is that true and how is it defined as "related application"?
Yes, in the briefing session the headmistress said that for maximum 100 places would be allocated to those related parties, such as those who have brothers/sisters studying at the school, those dad/moms are old boys/girls.
One thing to clarify , your question is to ask me the reading book he read while waiting to see the teacher and principle? Then I think he pick up an english book.
If you refer to the story that the teacher read out and ask questions, my son's story is in chinese. He has to answer in Chinese in my son's case.

How about Chistian but not member of SHK? Treated as "Related party" as well?
In the briefing session, the headmistress did mention that they had subsidies for those students in need. That means if the students are brilliant, the school will still accept them even though they don't have any sound background.
